As Easy As This Is To Make, I Think I’ll Be Making Quite a Few Batches Of It This Season!

If you like your chocolate a little, well, nutty, this Mocha Almond Fudge is an excellent choice. You can have this dessert prepped in under 20 minutes, and then after you give your refrigerator about three hours to chill it, it’s ready to cut up and serve. It’s about as simple a great-tasting dessert as you can get – only eight ingredients and five basic steps. There’s really no excuse to settle for store-bought fudge when it’s so easy to make at home. There’s not even any baking involved with this recipe.

You just prep a 9″ x 9″ baking dish; melt and stir together the chocolate, condensed milk, and butter on the stove over medium heat; stir in the espresso, salt, vanilla, and almond extract; fold in the chopped almonds; and pour the mixture into the baking dish and refrigerate it for several hours before cutting it up into individual servings.

The hardest part, really, is just waiting for it all to chill in the refrigerator!

If you have a hankering for a nice meat pie, this Deep Dish Cowboy Quiche is a nice, savory choice. It preps in half an hour, bakes in an hour, and makes about ten hearty servings. Quiche recipes can sometimes have, well, too much crust relative to the filling. This recipe solves that problem by giving the quiche a nice deep dish upgrade. If you like bacon and cheese, you’ll enjoy this recipe.

 

You have to be a bit patient with the onions and not rush the caramelizing process, and you also want to take care not to overcook the bacon, but you do not have to be a master chef to put this together. The flavor is well worth the wait, too, though of course you can add whatever other (cooked) meat or chopped veggies that you like to the mix. Enjoy!

Cooking at home with lean, health-conscious ingredients is a great way to have a flavorful meal without throwing all dietary concerns to the wind. This Healthy Orange Chicken recipe is a nice choice if you like the taste of Chinese food but need to watch your cholesterol, sodium, or blood sugar levels.

 

I have frequently enjoyed Asian-style orange chicken at restaurants in the past, and as it turns out, it isn’t that difficult a dish to put together. There is a marinating step, but you only need to marinate the chicken for about half an hour. And the agave and low-sodium soy sauce combined nicely with the other ingredients to make a delicious lightened-up sauce (while keeping the sodium levels and glycemic index relatively low).

Nothing Beats This Classic Southern Recipe

This Southern Chicken Salad is great for a lunch or light dinner at home, but it also makes a bunch, keeps well for a couple of days in the refrigerator, and is readily expandable, making it a great tailgate, picnic, or potluck option. I also enjoy snacking on this salad for lunch. So yummy – this recipe certainly is a keeper! Chicken salad is one thing that is easy to make but also easy to mess up. This recipe uses just the right amount of mayo and a good balance of sweet and savory flavors to bring everything together beautifully.

Leave it to the southerners to come up with such an amazing recipe. They never seem to fail! And if you want to make this extra healthy, you can leave out the sugar and use low-fat mayonnaise. It will still taste absolutely scrumptious!

If I can recall right, i do beleive thatw e had this chicken salad recipe for my sister’s bridal shower. Yes! Yes, we did! It was so good and we ate it on croissants. Whata  great memory of good food and fun times 🙂
