Jade is my little neighbor who er… dislikes my flowers in the driveway so she… picks on them every chance she gets.

I have a hard time reprimanding her because every time she destroys my flowers, her mother apologizes. Hallie is a wonderful neighbor and it’s hard to stay angry at the little girl who looks so angelic standing next to her mother. My husband laughs at me whenever that happens because he knows my weakness is kindness. He never even helps me whenever Hallie comes to bring me something as a form of apology.

With some stroke of luck though, I found out what Jade loves. She loves mini pies, the ones that you can buy in bakeries that have different pie fillings. When I found out about it, I searched the internet for a recipe that will teach me how to make those delicious little pies.

I finally found this recipe that makes use of wonton wrappers. And since I’m a dim-sum lover, I often have enough of them at home. So I made  a batch and delivered it straight to their house.

It’s been months now and my flowers are still there, shining beautifully under the sun. Yup! Hallie says Jade loves them and wishes that the “lady next door should bring her more next time”. Oh I will.

If she continuously behaves.

Words cannot describe how amazing this dessert is. If you’re a fan of peanut butter pie, you’re going to be an air conditioner for peanut butter brownie dessert (see what I did there? lol!). I have tried making and eating many versions of peanut butter pie, but this recipe takes the cake…er…pie.

Talk about taking decadence to a whole new level. Your taste buds are going to be in love with this pie. It’s so rich, creamy, and dreamy. I enjoy making this dessert during the holidays, as it’s always a big hit amongst the family. However, I try and slide it in at least a couple of times throughout the year. I’d make it every week if I could, but my waistline wouldn’t appreciate that very much.

Bertolli, dinner, dough, eat, Fleischmann's active dry yeast packet, Gold medal bread flour, green peppers, Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing, Kraft cheese, lukewarm water, marinara sauce, mozzarella, olive oil, parmesan, Pearls black olives, pie, pizza, pizza roll, recipe, slice, zucchini

Thinking about heading out to your local pizza joint tonight? Forget about it! You can easily knock together a few ingredients for the best pizza that’s ever touched your tongue. Not only is this pizza packed with flavorful spices, cheese, and veggies, it’s neatly compacted into a loaf, making it the best creation since sliced bread…er…pizza rolls. Sprinkle a little parmesan cheese or, “Farmer John cheese,” as my kids used to call it when they were little, and perfection is made.

This pizza is definitely not your ordinary, every-day slice of pie but what fun is ordinary anyway? You literally have the option to combine any type of vegetables that you please to this wondrous creation of fresh dough, zippy sauce, and stringy cheese. Another great thing about eating your pizza in roll-form is the lack of mess. All the good stuff is hidden within the walls of the pizza dough. Genius!

apples, Crisco, Gold Medal, Granny Smith, Kraft, Land O Lakes, Macintosh, Morton salt, pie, recipe

Dutch Apple Pie has been an American favorite for years. Oh, the irony! From its flaky crust to the crumbly topping that fills your mouth with flavor, this pie is a must-have at any holiday dinner, event, or as an after-supper treat. In fact, after your friends and family sample it, they’ll be begging you for the recipe. Maybe you’ll just keep as your little secret.

If you’ve got some extra apples laying around, grab those babies up and toss ‘em into a flaky pie shell. Our family likes to use a mixture of Granny smith and Macintosh apples. Dutch Apple Pie only takes about 60-minutes to throw together. Soon, you’ll have a delicious slice sitting on your plate waiting to make its way into your belly. Yum!

The creamy combination of chocolate and peanut butter is rising out of this unbelievable pie. Most people who love chocolate pie for dessert, REALLY love their chocolate pie. The following recipe incorporates fresh cream, and sugar for a decadent dessert. A slice of this delicious pie goes so well with a steaming hot cup of coffee, that you’ll want to have this for breakfast, too.

This pie turns out to be a very rich and cream consistency. The heavy whipping cream is lightly beat and folded in the the fluffy peanut butter mixture. Although it only takes about 10 minutes to make, it should remain in the freezer at least 4 hours before serving. The pie serves up to 8 people – but we all know how it goes… You take that first bite and you lose all self-control! So you may have to make two pies if you’re inviting more people over!

This Easy Cheeseburger Pie is another quick, easy, and yummy main dish for those hectic midweek nights (or whenever you don’t feel like spending too much time in the kitchen). Seven ingredients, maybe 20 minutes of prep, 25 minutes in the oven, and it’s done! We all know what it’s like, feeling busy and run down but still needing something decent to put together for dinner. This four-step recipe is about as easy as it gets, and it’s rather hearty and filling.

This is also one of the easiest recipes for whenever you need to cook for a larger crowd! Just double or even triple the ingredients to make a nice dish for your next family gathering. There will be plenty of people begging for the recipe, so make sure you bring it with you!

applewood, applewood bacon, Argo cornstarch, bacon, bacon quiche, bake, baked, bakes, baking, baking powder, baking soda, barilla pasta, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, Borden, brown sugar, butter, Campbell’s soups, casserole, cheese, Cheesy, Chiquita, Clabber Girl, College Inn, Cool Whip, cowboy, cowboy quiche, crock pot, Daisy sour cream, deep dish, Deep Dish Cowboy Quiche, deep dish plan, deep dish quiche, dessert, dinner, Dole, domino sugar, easy, easy recipe, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, entree, Farmer John, Farmer John applewood bacon, food, Gold Medal flour, granulated sugar, Green Giant, Hershey, Hodgkin’s Mill, home, home recipe, Jell-O, Jif peanut butter, Johnsonville, keebler, kosher salt, Kraft, Land O Lakes, land o lakes butter, Land O'Lakes, Land O'Lakes butter, Libby, main course, main dish, McCormick spices, meat, meat pie, meat pies, meaty, Morton salt, Pam Cooking Spray, Pepperidge Farm, Philadelphia cream cheese, pie, pies, Powdered sugar, quiche, quiche recipe, recipe, Ritz crackers, Sara Lee, Sargento, simple, simple recipe, slow cooker, Thorn Apple Valley, Toll House, TruMoo milk, tyson, vanilla, vanilla extract, Vlasic, Wesson vegetable oil, whipped topping

If you have a hankering for a nice meat pie, this Deep Dish Cowboy Quiche is a nice, savory choice. It preps in half an hour, bakes in an hour, and makes about ten hearty servings. Quiche recipes can sometimes have, well, too much crust relative to the filling. This recipe solves that problem by giving the quiche a nice deep dish upgrade. If you like bacon and cheese, you’ll enjoy this recipe.

You have to be a bit patient with the onions and not rush the caramelizing process, and you also want to take care not to overcook the bacon, but you do not have to be a master chef to put this together. The flavor is well worth the wait, too, though of course you can add whatever other (cooked) meat or chopped veggies that you like to the mix. Enjoy!
