My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Paris. We spent two weeks abroad enjoying the culture and everything that the country had to offer. We visited the Eiffel tower, Champs Elysees, Louvre, and all the other gorgeous landmarks of the city. We also went to restaurant after restaurant trying the best food they could serve. We love eating and since we were in one of the biggest food scenes of the world, we knew we had to try lots of it!

One of our favorite things to enjoy while we were in the city were the sandwiches. Our personal favorites were the Croque Monsieur and Croque Madame. It is a sandwich of ham and cheese with melted cheese over the top and a creamy béchamel sauce over it. The Croque Madame also had a fried egg over it. Yum yum! But my husband’s favorite sandwich was the French Dip sandwich. It had lots of meat, cheese and a light sauce to give it plenty of flavor. It was such a delicious combination of flavors that was served on crusty white baguette. It was so amazing; we knew we would have to look for it back in the states!

Hi, everyone! I am a huge fan of the Reuben sandwich. How about you all? When I was pregnant with my first baby, I ate so many Reuben sandwiches in a week that I gained 5 pounds! My doctor told me no more Reubens and to stop eating so much salt haha! I couldn’t help it; they were so good!

Now, my kids aren’t necessarily fans of the Reuben sandwich (my oldest probably got her fair share in the womb). However, if I make this Reuben casserole, they instantly gobble it up. It’s the oddest thing! Oh well, as long as they eat it, right? I love this recipe as it tastes just like the sandwich, and I think you’re going to love it too!

Quick Tip: I am always drizzling a bit of Thousand Island dressing on top of my slice of this casserole. It’s great!

American cheese, baking powder, baking soda, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, canola oil, cheddar, Clabber Girl, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, food, Gold Medal flour, ground beef, Johnsonville, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, McCormick spices, Morton salt, patty melt, Pepperidge Farm rye bread, recipe, sandwich, Swiss, TruMoo milk, unsalted butter, Wesson vegetable oil, Yellow onion

Have you ever had a hankering for a juicy beef patty but you have no burger buns? Never fear! You can totally feed your craving by making a patty melt. All you need is a thick slab of ground beef browned to perfection, caramelized onions, cheese, and two pieces of toasted bread to sandwich it all between.

If you ask me, this sounds like it would taste BETTER than your average run-of-the-mill hamburger. Besides the burger, the fact that you get to pan fry the bread sounds delectably delicious! Why not give this bude of a recipe a try tonight for dinner?

Bertolli, carrots, celery, Domino, Egg-land's Best, Hood, Italian bread, Kraft, Kraft cheese, Land O Lakes, McCormick, Mezzetta, Mezzetta olives, muffuletta, olives, Philadelphia, sandwich

JUST when you thought the city was safe, here comes the monster of all sandwiches!

I lived in the North End of Boston for years, and boy do they know how to make the best Italian fare!

Sopressata is an Italian dried Salami, but it can be substituted for any type of Salami you have on hand.

You don’t need to be Italian, to experience the sheer joy of the Muffuletta!

This recipe takes about 90 minutes and serves 4-6 people, and as Italians go…these portions are large!

The olive-vegetable spread is key to the flavors of this dish….I wouldn’t recommend just using mayo.

I also added a little lettuce and pickle to my sandwich, as I love an incredible crunch, with ever bite.

brunch, canned chicken, cheddar cheese, chicken salad, chicken salad sandwich, croissant, domino sugar, dresing, dressing, grapes, great value, great value canned chicken, Hellman's mayonnaise, Hellmann's, Hellmann's mayo, Hidden Valley, Hidden Valley Ranch, Ken's dressing, Ken's steak house, Kraft, Kraft mayo, Kraft mayonnaise, lunch, lunch idea, mayo, mayonnaise, midday meal, Ranch Dressing, romaine, sandwich, sugar, Swanson, Swanson canned chicken, tomato, tyson, Tyson canned chicken, wal mart, Wish Bone, Wish Bone dressing

Are you still eating your chicken salad with *just* mayonnaise? It’s time to dress up the blandness and take this lunch staple to the next level.

Adding in juicy grapes give you a little pop of sweetness and using romaine lettuce prevents it from being overly mushy. Add in some other goodies like tomato, cheddar cheese, and a mixture of ranch with the mayonnaise for an extra boost of flavor. This recipe calls for using canned chicken, however feel free to use rotisserie chicken for a fresher alternative! Make this for a brunch get-together, or as an everyday midday meal – you’ll love it!

Nothing Beats This Classic Southern Recipe

This Southern Chicken Salad is great for a lunch or light dinner at home, but it also makes a bunch, keeps well for a couple of days in the refrigerator, and is readily expandable, making it a great tailgate, picnic, or potluck option. I also enjoy snacking on this salad for lunch. So yummy – this recipe certainly is a keeper! Chicken salad is one thing that is easy to make but also easy to mess up. This recipe uses just the right amount of mayo and a good balance of sweet and savory flavors to bring everything together beautifully.

Leave it to the southerners to come up with such an amazing recipe. They never seem to fail! And if you want to make this extra healthy, you can leave out the sugar and use low-fat mayonnaise. It will still taste absolutely scrumptious!

If I can recall right, i do beleive thatw e had this chicken salad recipe for my sister’s bridal shower. Yes! Yes, we did! It was so good and we ate it on croissants. Whata  great memory of good food and fun times 🙂
