Fast-Making Meaty Deliciousness

Swedish Meatballs deliver a classic creamy and savory flavor and are really quick to make. I had some Swedish meatballs a few weeks ago at my usual tailgate spot, and I loved them so much, I just had to hunt down a recipe for them to share with you.

Fast-cooking recipes such as these are great for parties, tailgates, and midweek dinners. Just pair with your favorite pasta, and there you have it! These aren’t the Italian-style meatballs that most people are used to, but if you like savory and creamy sauces, you’ll really enjoy meatballs this way.

I think that you could practically drink this gravy. And yes, as the original recipe provider suggests, you may want to make a bit extra sauce if you are using broad egg noodles or something similar. This recipe is best if you have enough gravy that it can really soak into the pasta; that way, the savory flavor really takes hold, and you can make that great meaty taste stretch that much further.

These Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Meatballs make for great party or tailgate food or for a simple, hearty meal at home. It’s a really easy recipe. And, for that matter, the sauce only requires five ingredients, most (if not all) of which are likely to be in your pantry or refrigerator already. I love a number of different meatball flavors, but the honey garlic combination is a classic, and it’s a great option if you’re on a bit of a budget and want something low-hassle.

 

This recipe specifically calls for frozen meatballs, mostly as a means of making use of meatballs you already have on hand. If you are going to cook your own and are going to use your slow cooker for this recipe, I would recommend at least chilling them before putting them in there; they’ll be less likely to break apart if you do that.

Tater tots make for a nice side option for a lot of meals, but if you want something similar but healthier, or if you just want to mix things up a bit, these Zucchini Tater Tots are a good option, and you only need five ingredients (plus a bit of salt and pepper) to make them.

 

I know that it isn’t properly zucchini season anymore, but I still have a soft spot for this vegetable and like to make good use of it when I can. It will take 45 minutes max to put this together, and with a food processor, you can speed it up a lot more, as these zucchini tots only take about 18 minutes to bake. In addition to being a good, healthy side dish, they also make for great party or tailgate food and taste good even at room temperature.

Nothing Beats This Classic Southern Recipe

This Southern Chicken Salad is great for a lunch or light dinner at home, but it also makes a bunch, keeps well for a couple of days in the refrigerator, and is readily expandable, making it a great tailgate, picnic, or potluck option. I also enjoy snacking on this salad for lunch. So yummy – this recipe certainly is a keeper! Chicken salad is one thing that is easy to make but also easy to mess up. This recipe uses just the right amount of mayo and a good balance of sweet and savory flavors to bring everything together beautifully.

Leave it to the southerners to come up with such an amazing recipe. They never seem to fail! And if you want to make this extra healthy, you can leave out the sugar and use low-fat mayonnaise. It will still taste absolutely scrumptious!

If I can recall right, i do beleive thatw e had this chicken salad recipe for my sister’s bridal shower. Yes! Yes, we did! It was so good and we ate it on croissants. Whata  great memory of good food and fun times 🙂

It’s safe to say that this recipe for Baked Ham & Cheese Party Wraps is meant for sharing. As-is, the recipe makes a dozen delicious wraps, topped with a delicious sweet & savory glaze. I always did like peanut butter. At an early point in my life, I probably could have eaten jars at a time, but for the texture of it. It’s delicious but sticks to EVERYTHING! The solution: Well, just put it in super-yummy and low-hassle cookie form, of course! These Peanut Butter Cookie Bars are a family-friendly treat for all ages. And since you can make two to three dozen of them in well under an hour and don’t have to worry about keeping them chilled, they make for an ideal tailgate party option, as well.

 

This really is a treat for all ages. And it’s really not that difficult to put together. In the course of an evening, you easily could make a couple of batches for a large tailgate or football party and another “private” batch for yourself and the family. The best part, though, in my opinion, is that you get that great peanut butter flavor without the peanut butter hassle.

Make a Tasty Side For Any Gathering Without Straining Yourself Too Much Doing It

Give that favorite mac salad recipe of yours a new rival with this Hawaiian Macaroni Salad recipe!  It’s incredibly simple to put together and makes for a great side for most any large gathering. To be honest with you, sometimes I have this for lunch on its own, instead of serving it as a side dish! Though perhaps not QUITE as ubiquitous as cole slaw or potato salad, you will see macaroni salad, or “mac salad” as it is often called, at many a tailgate, barbecue, potluck, and picnic across America, particularly in the South.

This Hawaiian mac salad, though very similar to the Southern version of which I am the most familiar, does something a little different with the dressing and makes use of a somewhat different vegetable mixture, so I thought I would give this variation a try.

My husband really enjoyed this version of mac salad and I was super surprised. You see, my hubby is quite particular about his mac salad and he doesn’t like the recipe to be changed up in the least. Welp, he enjoyed this version. Winning!
