Add These Layers of AWESOME Into a Serving Dish For a Dessert To Die For

I do not know how it’s even possible but, I had completely forgotten about this incredible dessert recipe for a couple of years. I remember the first time I tasted this dessert – it was such an Ah-Ha moment for me. I had always enjoyed savory, layered dips but it hadn’t occurred to me that I could create a dessert the same way. I know. Sometimes my brain runs a little slow.

I’ve made this dessert dip for many occasions and now that I found it again, I am most definitely making it over the holidays. You won’t find an easier way to whip up a mind-blowing dessert for your whole family!

Even if everyone is coming over, you can always fill two or even three dishes with these scrumptious layers. There will be plenty of dip – but you’ll still probably end up with no leftovers!

It’s also very easy to tweak the flavors a little bit. We have a cousin who’s very allergic to strawberries, so I’m thinking of making two dishes this year – one with strawberries and one with raspberries.

Here’s Our Secret To The Perfect Holiday Mini-Dessert!

These cute little holiday treats are as easy to make as they come. With fresh strawberries, and a little dash of creamy goodness, they’re nutritious and delicious!

Not to mention the brownies, which makes these perfect for all chocoholics, too! This recipe uses a store-bought brownie mix (which makes this even easier) but feel free to make your favorite homemade brownie batter instead, if preferred. Buy some pretty little boxes, and give them away as gifts, for the holiday. Whatever you do, they’re cute, creative, and a crowd pleaser!

I’m so glad I came across Jen’s recipe and I’m pretty sure we are going to be making these Santa hat brownies every year, from now on. The kids were crazy about the test batch I made! I can’t wait to give these as gifts to our neighbors and friends over the holidays.

Who Else Wants To Put This On Their Dessert Menu?

If you’d like to make a really impressive, yet super easy dessert for the holidays (or any day, for that matter) I highly recommend giving this pretzel jello dessert a try! It looks fabulous and like it took you half a day to make, but it is actually super easy and definitely not as time consuming as one might think!

You do need a few hours to let it cool and set in the refrigerator, so I would suggest you make this ahead, the day before serving. However, if you start preparing this in the morning of the party, you’ll have plenty of time to do whatever you’d like, while this is setting in the fridge!

This recipe makes 12 servings in a 13×9″ dish, so it’s great for those times you need to whip something up for a large crowd. Of course, if your whole extended family is coming over, you can easily double the ingredients and divide them between two dishes. Or if you’d just like to have enough for second servings – I guarantee people are going to line up and beg for them!

Need A Cake Recipe That NEVER Fails? We’ve Got One For You

My mother always talks about her aunt Tilda, who apparently made the best pound cakes in the universe. I have no doubt they were amazing, since my mother has saved one of her cake recipes and it is completely out of this world. I never got to meet this marvelous lady – she was my grandmother’s oldest sister and passed away before I was born. But according to my mother she was a genius in the kitchen. You couldn’t have a taste of any of her cookings without closing your eyes and sighing over how delicious it was.

Lucky me, I got a copy of aunt Tilda’s famous cake recipe and it truly is awesome. People have even asked me to make it for special occasions! It’s not in any way a spectacular looking cake, but it tastes so good you could call it pure magic.

If you want, you can add your favorite glaze but this is a cake that will definitely work on its own, too, without any special decorations or additions. Just make sure you get a slice for yourself first – this will disappear in record time!

This Pie Puts Grandma’s Recipe To Shame

I am not easily impressed when it comes to dessert recipes. Nope – I’ve seen and tried so many delicious pies and dessert bars made from fresh fruits and berries that I was sure “The Ultimate Summer Dessert” was already among them.

But I was wrong. You see, the other day my friend came over, carrying this strawberry rhubarb pie with her. Oh, my, gosh. I’m telling you, if I had to give up all of my recipes and I could only keep one – this would be it!

This version of the rather classic dessert is so incredible that I would happily eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And, of course, dessert. I could eat this every day for a month and still not get tired of it!

I’m not sure if it’s that perfect combination of rhubarb, strawberries and brown sugar – or perhaps that mouthwatering crumble topping, that makes this pie so mindblowing. To be honest with you, I don’t care. I just want to eat it, as much and as often as I can.

The other day, Anne was organizing a little get together for all the neighbors. We were all so busy over the holidays that we did not have time to spend time together or have a Christmas party as we usually do, or at least ring in the New Year. Anne, being the social butterfly that she is, could not stand that it did not happen, so she organized some stuff to make sure it would happen. So, what was this event about? She called it an “after party.” She thought it was funny because it sounded like what the celebrities have, but it was just really called an after party because we had a party after all the other ones. It was a practical name, believe me.

Well, as usual, Anne went crazy over what to put on the menu. She tried assigning specific dishes to different people, but that did not seem to be working, so instead she created a document online and told everyone to write their name along with what they would be bringing. It was so easy, everyone signed up! And the one thing that caught my eye? Mrs. Smith’s Strawberry Cream Cheese White Chocolate cookies. Oh, yessss.

Those boxes of ice cream at the store are so darn expensive! If they’re bars you only get 4 if you’re lucky, if its a pint it’s gone in a flash. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to make them at home. Uh, you can!

This raspberry sorbet is icy, refreshing and the perfect end to any meal. You don’t even need a machine! Whip this stuff up in 5 minutes flat and scoop some tiny balls of it into a fancy glass. You and your family will feel like you’re at a posh restaurant. You can also get a few giant scoops and indulge without any guilt at all. Homemade is best made, right?

If you’re not a fan of raspberries you can use any berry really, Read on to find out how easy this truly is to make. You can feel proud of eating and serving something that has no additives and keeps all the flavor.
