These Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake Chimichangas are a delicious sweet treat for parties or home snacking, and by the time you say the name, you can be about done making them. I have to say, I wouldn’t have thought of making a chimichanga into a dessert item, but it works beautifully here. It’s not only sweet and creamy – it’s so quick and easy, too! You’ll literally whip this up in no time, which means more time for you to kick back and relax.

Not bad for only seven ingredients, eh? It’s such a breeze to make, and with the combination of strawberry cream cheese and cinnamon sugar, it has the perfect flavors for all seasons. It also is very easily expanded, should you have an extra-large group to feed.

Nothing Beats This Classic Southern Recipe

This Southern Chicken Salad is great for a lunch or light dinner at home, but it also makes a bunch, keeps well for a couple of days in the refrigerator, and is readily expandable, making it a great tailgate, picnic, or potluck option. I also enjoy snacking on this salad for lunch. So yummy – this recipe certainly is a keeper! Chicken salad is one thing that is easy to make but also easy to mess up. This recipe uses just the right amount of mayo and a good balance of sweet and savory flavors to bring everything together beautifully.

Leave it to the southerners to come up with such an amazing recipe. They never seem to fail! And if you want to make this extra healthy, you can leave out the sugar and use low-fat mayonnaise. It will still taste absolutely scrumptious!

If I can recall right, i do beleive thatw e had this chicken salad recipe for my sister’s bridal shower. Yes! Yes, we did! It was so good and we ate it on croissants. Whata  great memory of good food and fun times 🙂

This Maple Bacon Monkey Bread is a bit on the daring side, but with the right ingredients, a bit of a savory addition to a sweet treat can turn out brilliantly. It’s a surprisingly fast and easy recipe that will soon become the favorite of your whole family. When I say that everything is better with bacon, I normally make an exception for dessert items. But I am one to try anything at least once (I was the ten-year-old who never needed a kid’s menu to find something I’d eat at a nice restaurant), and this… well, it works.

Needless to say, if I’d had this as a breakfast item back in the day, I’d have eaten breakfast a lot more than I actually did. That’s why I try to make this delicious breakfast for my kids at least a few times a month.

I know it is a bit sugary but if you substitute the sugar with stevia baking blend there is no negative impact on your glycemic index. Genius!

Argo cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, barilla pasta, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, Borden, brown sugar, Campbell’s soups, casserole, chicken, chicken breast, chicken breasts, chicken broth, chicken chili, Chicken White Chili, Chiquita, Clabber Girl, College Inn, Cool Whip, crock pot, Crock-Pot slow cooker, Daisy sour cream, dessert, dinner, Dole, domino sugar, easy, easy chili, easy recipe, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, entree, food, Gold Medal flour, granulated sugar, Green Giant, Hershey, Hodgkin’s Mill, home, home recipe, Jell-O, Jif peanut butter, Johnsonville, keebler, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, Libby, main course, main dish, McCormick spices, Morton salt, navy beans, Pam Cooking Spray, Pepperidge Farm, Philadelphia cream cheese, Powdered sugar, recipe, Ritz crackers, Sara Lee, Sargento, simple, simple chili, simple recipe, slow cooker, Slow Cooker Chicken White Chili, slow cooking, slow-cooked, Swanson, Swanson chicken broth, Swanson's, Thorn Apple Valley, Toll House, TruMoo milk, tyson, vanilla, vanilla extract, Vlasic, Wesson vegetable oil, whipped topping, white chili

If you like the hearty, savory flavor of chili, but you want something different from the usual ground beef-based recipe with kidney beans, consider this Slow Cooker Chicken White Chili. It is very filling and easy to put together. I do like the flavor of beef-based chili, to the point that it is a frequent staple in my household, but hey, I like variety, too. This chicken-based recipe is quite flavorful, and though it is a bit leaner, it’s really filling, too. The Crock-Pot made it really easy, as well.

I have enjoyed navy beans in the past, but I normally just had them the way I have most beans: cooked with a few herbs, spices, and bacon until soft. This is a much more creative way to make use of them. I also hadn’t thought of using chicken in chili, but variety is the spice of life, they say, and it turned out brilliantly.

A Classic Soup With a Heck of an Upgrade

Argo cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, barilla pasta, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, Borden, brown sugar, Campbell’s soups, casserole, cheese, Cheesy, chicken, chicken broth, Chiquita, Clabber Girl, College Inn, Cool Whip, cream, creamy, Creamy Sausage Tomato Soup, Creamy Sausage Tomato Tortellini Soup, creamy tomato soup, crock pot, Daisy sour cream, dessert, dinner, Dole, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, entree, food, Gold Medal flour, granulated sugar, Green Giant, Hershey, Hodgkin’s Mill, home, home recipe, Hunt, Hunt's, Hunt's tomato sauce, Jell-O, Jif peanut butter, Johnsonville, keebler, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, Libby, main course, main dish, McCormick spices, Morton salt, olive oil, Pam Cooking Spray, Pepperidge Farm, Philadelphia cream cheese, Pompeian, Pompeian olive oil, Powdered sugar, quick, quick recipe, recipe, Ritz crackers, Sara Lee, Sargento, sausage, slow cooker, soup, soup.recipe, Swanson, Swanson chicken broth, Swanson's, Thorn Apple Valley, Toll House, tomato, tomato sauce, tomato soup, tomatoes, TruMoo milk, tyson, vanilla, vanilla extract, Vlasic, Wesson vegetable oil, whipped topping

If you like the basic flavor of tomato soup but think that it could use a creamy and savory upgrade, this Creamy Sausage Tomato Tortellini Soup is exactly what you need. It makes in just half an hour and is really hearty and filling. I always did like tomato soup, though I usually did add some cream to it, and it was rarely enough on its own. I don’t think that you will go with the store-bought options once you try this, and you won’t need much with it for a really full meal.

I like these flavors for fall and winter, though you easily could savor this any time of year. It’s just such a perfect meal for those cold days when all you want to do is cuddle up by the fire. I would keep anything that you serve with it rather simple. Just a simple salad should be fine.

A Spicy Cake for Autumn And Winter

If you like a little spice in your dessert, this Autumn Spice Cake is just what you’re looking for. It has just the right balance of “sweet spices” for fall and comes with a lovely cream cheese frosting. I do love fall baking season. Summer is great, but with the sweltering heat and all of the barbecue you are usually eating, dessert options can be a bit limited. Cooler weather makes for many more options for great cakes.

A smooth cream cheese icing makes for a nice touch for a cake with such flavor depth. I happen to think that the pecans make for a nice texture contrast, but if you’re not big on crunchiness with your cake, feel free to do without them.

Argo cornstarch, autumn, bake, baked, bakes, baking, baking powder, baking soda, barilla pasta, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, Borden, brown sugar, Campbell’s soups, casserole, casserole recipe, cheese, Cheesy, Chiquita, Clabber Girl, College Inn, Cool Whip, crock pot, Daisy sour cream, dessert, Dole, domino sugar, easy, easy recipe, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, fall, food, Gold Medal flour, granulated sugar, Green Giant, Hershey, Hodgkin’s Mill, home, home recipe, Jell-O, Jif peanut butter, Johnsonville, keebler, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, Libby, McCormick spices, Morton salt, Mrs. Dash, olive oil, Pam Cooking Spray, Pepperidge Farm, Philadelphia cream cheese, Pompeian, Pompeian olive oil, Powdered sugar, quick, quick recipe, recipe, Ritz crackers, Sara Lee, Sargento, seasoning blend, slow cooker, Thorn Apple Valley, Toll House, Trader Joe's, Trader Joe's 21 Salute, TruMoo milk, tyson, vanilla, vanilla extract, Vlasic, Wesson vegetable oil, whipped topping

Good, savory side dishes can be hard to come by. This is a great choice for fall and winter… and about as quick and easy as it gets. When all else fails, add cheese, right? It’s a simple recipe with a delicious sweet & savory combination.

As-is, the dish is rather simple, albeit rather delicious. You are welcome to add more ingredients according to your own tastes, however. Want some chicken, sausage, or other already cooked meat in there? Feel free to add it? Have some extra vegetables you’d like to have in there, such as carrots, onion, or bell pepper? Chop some of that up, and throw them in. Corn or most any type of beans can be mixed in, as well. It’s just a matter of how much you want in it.
