Wow. That’s all we can say about this awesome casserole. We all enjoyed fishing out the hunk of bacon fat from a can of baked beans when we were kids, right? Well, this recipe smothers the baked beans in crispy strips of bacon for a savory treat so mouthwatering you’re going to need a bib. Seriously, you won’t have any leftovers because they will all be in your belly.

Watch your family gobble up this meal like nobody’s business. I’m talking complete food inhalation. Whenever I place baked bean and bacon casserole on the table my husband and kids get this crazy look in their eyes like they are about to totally devour the food. And guess what? They do! I love making a meal that’s a winner with the fam.

I don’t know about you, but I absolutely LOVE French onion chip dip. Now, imagine my surprise when I discovered that you can cook with this heavenly spread. Nope, French onion dip isn’t just for dressing potato chips. In fact, you can make a mean French onion chicken and rice casserole that’s simply to die for. The best part? You only need a few ingredients!

If you have 20-minutes to spare, you can assemble this amazing bake for dinner tonight. Seriously, that’s all it takes! Toss your ingredients into a baking pan, set the oven to 350 degrees, and within an hour, you’ve got yourself a fantastic looking dish to serve to your family. Serve this main course with fresh fruit paired with a dollop of Cool Whip for dessert for a complete meal.

Corn casserole is a staple food down south and for good reason: it’s fantastic! However, even if you’re a Yankee, you can still enjoy the delights of this warm and comforting cuisine. You’ll be amazed at how simple it is to make, and sometimes, if you have leftovers like ham, you can toss it into the pan. Nothing goes to waste! My family always looks forward to this corn casserole during Thanksgiving and other holidays.

Another great thing about this dish is that it can easily work as a one-pan meal. You’ve got your veggies, starch, and protein nestled into one convenient casserole. Pair this puppy with a side such as lettuce salad or a dollop of applesauce and dinner is served, kid! I love serving corn casserole on cold fall and winter days but it still works during the warmer months as well.

Move over Jiff, mama’s makin’ homemade peanut butter! You might be shaking your head in disbelief right now wondering how on earth YOU can make homemade peanut butter. Well, sweetheart, it’s easy. We’ve made it many times here on the homestead and each batch just keeps getting better. You can eat this classic condiment on toast, pancakes, ice cream, or off a spoon as a mid-day protein-packed pick-me-up.

You only need a few simple ingredients to make this creamy peanut butter and you probably already have most of them in your kitchen cupboards. This recipe is so simple to make that even the kids can join in on the culinary fun. However, we don’t recommend you allow the family dog anywhere near this amazing PB because he will surely eat it all when you’re not looking.
