How to whip up a healthy salad you can be proud of.

Have you ever craved something sweet but you aren’t interested in cakes, cookies, pies, or candy? I know when this happens to me I all about shock myself as I’m a junk food junkie. However, sometimes a big old bowl of fruit salad really hits the spot.

This recipe isn’t for your ordinary fruit salad as it contains two very specials ingredients: honey and lime.

The honey kicks the sweet factor up a bit, and the lime adds a touch of tantalizing tartness. This fruit salad is perfect for taking to summer picnics, BBQs, and family get-togethers.  It’s easy to throw together and looks like a rainbow in a  bowl. What can be better than that?

baking powder, baking soda, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, Billy Bee honey, black pepper, Blue Diamond toasted pecans, Bob's Red Mill, brown sugar, cinnamon, Clabber Girl, Cornmeal, dessert, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, food, Gold Medal flour, Johnsonville, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, McCormick spices, Morton salt, Nutmeg, parchment paper, recipe, southern caramel pecan sticky rolls, TruMoo milk, unsalted butter, water, Wesson vegetable oil, yeast

This dessert recipe has got me excited! I am a huge fan of southern pastries, and I gotta tell ya, these sticky caramel pecan rolls are simply divine! I just made them for my family yesterday, and I’ll be honest, we don’t have any left! They seriously flew right off the serving platter.

My daughter suggested that we top the rolls with vanilla ice cream, so I gave it a shot, and wow, am I glad that I did! The texture of the warm caramel pecan sticky roll mixed with cold ice cream really hit the spot. We may as well eaten these rolls for dinner because we certainly didn’t have room for the pot roast I cooked. So, yes, southern caramel pecan sticky rolls are the bomb, and I’ll be making them again.

Quick Tip: If someone in your house has a tree nut allergy, you can still make these rolls just leave the pecans out and swap them for raisins, chocolate chips, or leave them plain.

And no, we don’t mean the little chubblets that hang over your waistband after a big meal. We’re talking about bread, biscuits, pancakes, waffles, and whatever else tickles your fancy. Anyone can smear a swipe of butter onto a roll, but it takes a real taste connoisseur to indulge in honey butter.

And guess what? We’ve got the hookup on this great recipe.

If you’re into one pot meals like I am, this recipe is probably going to make you feel super giddy. Seriously, besides tasting absolutely amazing, slow cooker honey garlic chicken and vegetables is one of the easiest wholesome meals I’ve ever made for my family. Who doesn’t like the idea of throwing everything into the Crock Pot, coming back in a few hours, and chowing down on awesome food? I hear crickets…

This is a meal you’ll add to your meal plan for years to come. The recipe suggests a variety of vegetables to add to the pot, but feel free to toss in whatever tickles your fancy. I used baby carrots, potatoes, asparagus, and added in a few cups of sweet corn. Needless to say, it this dish was a huge success at my dinner table.

The first time I heard of this I just couldn’t believe it. I had to try – and it really works!

There are so many recipes that I use that call for marshmallow cream. Seriously, I’ve considered taking out a loan to buy stock in the white, fluffy goodness. Okay, maybe I’m not that far off the deep end, but I do use marshmallow fluff in a lot of desserts.

I’ve found that making my own fluff is much easier and less expensive than purchasing it every week. Do you want to know something else? It only takes TWO ingredients to whip up a batch of ooey, gooey marshmallow madness. I am not kidding! Just two ingredients! You are going to be so super surprised at what they are your head just might spin.

The best part is – this recipe really makes the most perfect, fluffy marshmallow cream you could think of. I guarantee, if you give this one a try you will never go back to your old ways again!

Argo cornstrach, Asian cuisine, baking powder, baking soda, bang bang chicken, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, Billy Bee honey, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, breakfast, Chinese food, Clabber Girl, cooking, cookware, dessert, dinner, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, food, Frnak's Red Hot sauce, gastro, Gold Medal flour, Heinz chili sauce, Hiland buttermilk, Johnsonville, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, lunch, mayonnaise, McCormick spices, Morton salt, orange chicken, panko, recipe, TruMoo milk, Tyson chicken breast, Wesson vegetable oil

I admit, I am a sucker for little pieces of fried chicken breast. I especially love these chicken breast pieces when they come coated in an orange glaze. You might think that you have to visit your nearest Chinese restaurant to get this saucy treat, but you don’t. Instead, make them in your own kitchen!

Not many restaurants use breast meat, it’s mostly thigh, which is ok, but not as good as breast in my opinion. So when I tried this recipe I was skeptical of how the sweet chili sauce was going to play with the Franks red hot and mayo (which is a sauce combination I use often for dipping). To my surprise, they played very well with each other. As far as the chicken itself, these little fried pillows of tastiness really are crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. This dish will make you the star of your next Asian inspired dinner party.

Chinese BBQ Pork Using PORK BELLY !!!

BBQ Pork, Billy Bee honey, breakfast, Chinese rose wine, cooking, cookware, dessert, dinner, food, food coloring, garlic, gastro, ginger, Kikkoman hoisin sauce, Lee Kum Kee dark soy sauce, Lee Kum Kee light soy sauce, Lee Kum Kee oyster sauce, lunch, maltose, peppercorn, Planters peanut oil, pork belly, recipe, sesame oil

Very rarely do I get really excited about a new recipe but using pork belly for Chinese BBQ pork is genius.

This Chinese BBQ pork recipe is pretty authentic as well, not that they are serving it in China but Americanized Chinese food goes back to the 1800’s and has a pretty cool history. I may go over it more in depth on another post.

Back to using pork belly for BBQ pork. I wish I had thought of this, pork belly is the perfect conduit for all this marinade and spice. So if you really want to impress some dinner guests or you family you have to try this!
