Oh Em Gee, These Are Incredible!

I’m so excited about today’s recipe that I almost can’t sit still! I’m crazy about potatoes, any way you make’m, so I have collected a vast amount of potato recipes over the years. I didn’t think it was possible to top them – you see, I figured I had already found and perfected the best of the best recipes out there. It turns out I was wrong, and I’m actually really happy about that!

I came across this caramelized roasted potatoes recipe on Vegan Food Lover’s channel, and it is TO DIE FOR. Honestly, I could eat these potatoes seven days a week and twice on Sunday! Vegan Food Lover really has found a heavenly combination of ingredients for that marinade – and I didn’t even realize you could marinate potatoes!

I highly recommend checking out all of his recipes; that’s what I’ve been doing for the past couple of days, and I’ve found quite a few favorites already. Let’s just say I’m going to pamper my family with these incredible dishes for the next couple of weeks, and you all should do the same!

I Never Knew It Could Be This Delicious To Shed A Few Pounds!

I enjoy spending time at church events; especially if it’s a potluck-type of thing, haha! Not that I wouldn’t enjoy going to church events, anyway, but every time there is food involved, I’m definitely there. The holiday cookie exchange is always a massive success, but I’m looking forward to our annual winter soup potluck. You wouldn’t believe how many great recipes I’ve gathered from there, over the years.

This cabbage soup is one of them, and it fits my post-Christmas mood perfectly. Sometimes I wonder why it is so hard for me to try and resist all the incredible desserts (and chocolate!) over the holidays. It’s virtually impossible – but at least I have this recipe to turn to, when the chocolate season is over!

I have worked my way back to my old jeans with the help of this soup, more often than I would like to admit. But it’s not just for those of us who like to watch our figure – by adding some chicken or ham I’ve served this as a hearty dinner for my family, and they all love it!

There is just nothing better than bacon, potatoes and cheese… am I right? Ha, well at least that’s how I feel when I’m in the mood for comfort food. And comfort food this is! De-lish.

I think this recipe makes a wonderful side dish for your holiday table as well as a great weeknight meal. You can eat these cheesy, bacon potatoes as an entree because, why not? Whenever I serve the dish as an entree I’ll include steamed veggies and crusty homemade bread.

When it comes to holiday food I like to offer a variety of options. I really do go all out and these cheesy, bacon potatoes are a welcome addition to the table. I mean, really, who doesn’t like cheese and bacon? And if you love cheese and bacon as much as I do then you will really lose your mind when those two items are added to a hot dish of yummy potatoes. Enjoy!

Baked To Perfection, This Dip Will Be The Talk Of Your Next Game Night

I am a huge dip person. Of all types of appetizers, dips are my favorite. Sure, little bacon wrapped potatoes dipped in sour cream are delicious, as well as chopped up brie cheese and apricot jam are delicious wrapped in a puff pastry, but those require so much to enjoy it. You need a plate and napkin and sometimes even a fork to eat those.

A dip is different and much more convenient. With a swoop of your hand, you can have a chip full of dip in your mouth in no time. I just stand by the dip bowl to make it extra easy and more efficient, haha!

I will admit, I am a dip hog. I stand by the dip bowl and almost protect it from other people. If you have made a dip I have never tried, chances are, I want to eat it and eat the whole thing. Let’s just say I was taste testing it to approve it for others. Well, after much contemplation, I found the perfect dip recipe for my next party (and it will definitely be a staple at our game nights).  This one is easy and delicious!

This one is ridiculously easy to throw together!

This recipe for cheesy potato casserole is some scrumptious! It makes me want to move into my kitchen and never leave! Check out what my pals over at food.com had to say about this one:

“Great side dish for any meat dinner; can be served with your Easter ham, is a great substitute for the ordinary baked potato at your summer BBQ or can be served with any other dinner, anytime.”

I love making this casserole for my family because it’s easy to throw together and it tastes really good. I have a houseful of picky eaters and this is one casserole that everybody comes to the dinner table hungry for.

bacon, baking powder, baking soda, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, cauliflower and sweet potato soup, Clabber Girl, crock pot, croutons, domino sugar, dried thyme, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, food, garlic bread, Gold Medal flour, green onions, hot sauce, Johnsonville, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, McCormick spices, Morton salt, paprika, Philadelphia cream cheese, recipe, red pepper flakes, Shredded Cheese, slow cooker, TruMoo milk, Wesson vegetable oil

Some might say that this a soup for a cold, dreary day. I digress. Cauliflower and sweet potato soup makes a marvelous meal on any day. it’s hot, filling, and hits the spot when you have a growing pit in your belly. What’s even better is that almost everyone adores eating it. My kids really enjoy this recipe.

If you have a  hard time getting picky eaters to consume their veggies, you need to make this soup. Adding in the sweet potatoes is a game changer. You can still taste the cauliflower but the sweet potatoes add a lot of sweet, creamy texture to the mix. This si one of those recipes that I always keep handy, especially when i need to throw together a quick slow cooker meal.
