You’ll Go Bananas Over This Super Special Monkey Bread. It’s Unlike Any Other Monkey Bread You’ve Ever Had!

I just had my first monkey bread about five years ago and since then it has been a love affair. Seriously, there isn’t one thing not to love about this bread. It’s soft, chewy, and filled with all the famous ingredients that make our mouths water over a slice of pizza pie. I have mostly used canned biscuits because I have been doing the cinnamon sweet ones. And I have to say they’ve turned out so delicious I thought nothing could beat them. I mean, who can resist the callings of sweet, ooey, gooey cinnamon rolls?

For this, however, I decided to use canned pizza dough and it was amazing! I may even dabble with the sweet ones and try pizza dough next time. Anyone who likes pizza or cheesy bread will absolutely love this monkey bread recipe.

I served this pizza monkey bread to my kids for lunch and they loved it. I gave it to them with ranch dressing and extra pizza sauce for dipping. I made sure they had a side of applesauce and carrot sticks for added nutrition. It was a successful lunch 🙂

all-purpose flour, bay scallops, breakfast, butter, canola oil, chicken broth, clam juice, cooking, cookware, dessert, dinner, food, gastro, green onion, imitation crabmeat, lunch, milk, parmesan cheese, recipe, seafood lasagna, shrimp, whipping cream, white pepper

Ok, I know some of you are saying “Really, seafood lasagna?” But it is so delicious you might never go back to traditional lasagna again! Surprise your family with this tasty dinner and they will be wondering how on Earth you managed to hide a professional chef in the kitchen!

I have to admit I did not use imitation crab meat. I bought the real thing and I upped the quantity of it to be equal with the shrimp – one pound each and I doubled the cheese as well. Because, you know, you can never go wrong with double cheese, can you?

I know what my family and I like so I often spice up recipes a little. You can try this one as it is (you won’t be disappointed) or you can change it a bit to your liking.

breakfast, butter, cheese, cooking, cookware, dessert, dinner, dry yeast, flaxseed, food, gastro, Gold whole wheat flour, granulated sugar, ham, homemade hot pockets, honey, lunch, milk, recipe, white bread flour

These homemade hot pockets are so amazing! They will save you a bunch of money AND they are better than their store bought counterparts!

One of the best things about these are most of the ingredients can be exchanged for other meats and cheeses for an unlimited amount of different combinations. They can also be made very healthy and low fat if you are watching what you eat – so you can enjoy your meal with a clear conscience.

Or on the other side of the spectrum you can have bacon and other delicious meats that will make you wish it’ll never get to that last bite! This is such a tasty and versatile recipe you’ll wish you had found it sooner!

all-purpose flour, Borden half and half, breakfast, butter, chicken, chicken breast, cooking, cookware, dessert, dinner, food, garlic, gastro, lunch, McCormick black pepper, mozzarella cheese, onion, Oregano, parmesan cheese, Parsley, pizza, pizza dough, recipe, skim milk, Thyme

A good ol’ pizza with a heavy layer of tasty tomato sauce is awesome, but sometimes you are just in the mood for a white pizza. This is a cool change of pace and it is really delicious!

For this I used my pizza stone that goes into the regular oven but gives the pizza a very authentic stone oven crust. It turned out amazing! So rich and creamy but not too greasy because it is all white meat chicken.

Your whole family will love this and be asking you to cook it all the time. Or should I say, they will ask you to order a pizza from the same place next time because they’ll never believe you made this yourself! Let us know how yours turns out and please share with your friends.

breakfast, chicken and dumplings, cooking, cookware, dessert, dinner, food, gastro, lunch, recipe

Chicken and Dumplings and, really, chicken soup in general is the epitome of comfort food and is supposed to even have medicinal properties. Yes, you heard me right. Why else would everyone bring you chicken soup when you’re ill?

But I don’t like this one because of its healing factors… I like it because of these yummy dumplings! I tried mine with the dill because it’s one of my favorites. I know that’s not the case for everyone so you can just use parsley instead. This is sure to be a family favorite – let us know how yours turns out!

And don’t forget – soups like this only get better after a day or two. It might be a good idea to make a double batch, just so you can enjoy the leftovers for lunch the next day!

These Easy AND Healthy Taquitos Are Amazing!

breakfast, California Dairy cream cheese, chicken taquitos, Cilantro, cooking, cookware, corn tortillas, Crisco Cooking spray, Cumin, dessert, dinner, food, garlic, gastro, green onions, green salsa, lime juice, lunch, McCormick Chili Powder, Mexican flavored cheese, onion powder, recipe

Do tell me if you disagree but I think not liking a good taquito is un-American – I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like these!

This specific recipe for baked taquitos is great – I have tried it as written but I also have used different meat fillers. Once I even tried it with low fat cream cheese for an even healthier version – all of them have turned out surprisingly well! I also used a little more meat than this recipe called for, which is hit or miss on keeping the taquito rolled up…

Such a great dish for different occasions; game nights, late night parties, or a surprise lunch for your co-workers. These are great for your next potluck or tailgate they are sure to be a hit!

This amazing Bacon-Wrapped Dijon Pork Tenderloin takes a bunch of classic flavors and combines them in a way that really works wonders!

I love pork, and I am always looking for new and creative ways to make it taste different for my family. I have done Dijon pork tenderloins; I have done bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin; and I have done garlic pork tenderloins. But this was my first time to combine all three flavors into a bacon-wrapped garlic Dijon pork tenderloin.

I thought it turned out extremely well and was easy to prepare!  Why didn’t I think of this combination before? This is so delicious and definitely worth to try. It’s sure to be a family favorite.
