Are You Ready To Devour The Tastiest Cake On The Planet?

Sometimes the simpler better, and when it comes to this German Butter cake, ain’t that the truth! Take one look at this ingredient list and you’ll say “I can do that!”. Perfect for beginner baker’s or just when you want a simple sweet treat, it is no wonder this one is so popular in Germany! Easily adapt this recipe to add in some yummy fruit such as blueberries, apricots, or peaches by mixing them into the dough or layering them on the bottom of the tray. Oh, my! Ao very yummy!

My favorite part though is the nutty sliced almond topping  – mmm! I swear I could eat a pound of that stuff on its own, and I wouldn’t even feel guilty about it! If you’re in a hurry, you could just make some of that topping and spoon it over a scoop of ice cream –

I bet that would make an amazing dessert as well! However, I do recommend making the whole cake because it’s one of the best I’ve ever tasted.

almonds, apples, Argo cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, blueberry apple almond cobbler, Bob's Red Mill, brown sugar, cinnamon, Clabber Girl, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, food, Gold Medal flour, half-andhalf cream, Johnsonville, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, McCormick spices, Morton salt, Nutmeg, ReaLeom, recipe, TruMoo milk, vanilla extract, Wesson vegetable oil, Yoplait plain yogurt

This apple blueberry cobbler with a decadent almond topping is a recipe for the books! Not only is this dessert super sweet, rich, and buttery, but it contains a very special ingredient. Are you ready for this? Ok, here it goes, biscuits! Yes, you read that right, this amazing dessert is loaded with soft and puffy biscuits.

Now, I’m a bit of an old-fashioned kinda gal, so I topped the biscuits with oatmeal. I just can’t eat my cobbler without an oatmeal crust, but you don’t have to do this if you don’t want too. In fact, many have raved about how great this recipe is with just the biscuit and almond topping. Pick your poison; it’s your cobbler creation!

With so many taco bake recipes floating around these days, I consider myself to be exceptionally lucky that I came across this one. I, for one, am absolutely head-over-heels for tacos. I love them, and so does my family. However, tacos can sometimes get boring once you’ve had them a time or twenty. So why not try this recipe and mix things up a bit?

This recipe isn’t for your regular run-of-the-mill tacos. In fact, you won’t even be eating it with your hands. Shocking, I know. Instead, you’re going to be tossing all of your favorite taco ingredients into a baking dish and create a jazzy Mexican taco bake casserole! I’m telling you; this casserole is uh-mazing. It’s packed with zippy spices, juicy meat, and lots of CHEESE. Yum!

Make this side dish to compliment any meat and potato dinner for a quick and delicious way to sneak in those veggies. Take a quick gander at the ingredient list and you’ll notice you don’t need to go to the store for anything special. If swiss cheese isn’t on hand, feel free to substitute it for any other cheese you love. Cheddar? American? Yea that’ll work just fine!
