With 10 Minutes Of Prep Time, You’ll Make a Meal Everyone Wants To Devour

Now, here’s a recipe I’ve been wanting to share with you forever! This is one of my favorite meals to cook – because I hardly have to cook at all to get this done! It’s perfect for those midweek days when you have to rush out the door again, before you’ve hardly had a chance to step inside after a hard day’s work.

I love setting my slow cooker in the morning, literally forgetting I even did it, and then coming home to a wonderful surprise when all these beautiful aromas greet me at the door.

Sometimes miracles happen and I have time to make pita bread pockets from scratch – I always make a large batch and freeze as many of them as I can, so that I can whip up this crazy easy meal on a busy day again.

But there’s no need to worry if you’re schedule is too full to even think about making your own pita pockets. This grab-and-go meal tastes just as great even if you’re using store-bought ones.

These Mediterranean Flavors Will Knock Your Socks Off

The first time I ever tried Greek tzatziki, I wasn’t sure if I really liked it. My aunt made it and she used so much garlic that its taste was a little overwhelming. A few years after that we traveled to Greece and I got a taste of the authentic tzatziki. It was mindblowing! They served it in all of the restaurants and I simply couldn’t get enough of it. I know it’s supposed to be an appetizer, but I swear, I could have just ordered a big bowl of tzatziki alone for lunch!

Since then this has been my favorite recipe. Tzatziki really is a 3-in-1 dish. You could serve it as a lovely cucumber dip with veggie sticks. It makes a great spread for homemade crusty bread. But most of all, it is an amazing sauce for pretty much any entree you can think of!

If you ask me, tzatziki works perfectly with BBQ dishes. And wait until you’ve tried it with your favorite meatballs! The combination of flavors is incredible. It’s very easy to make and if you want to serve this at a party, I would suggest you make a double batch. It will be gone in minutes!

Quick Tip: Add the salt to the grated cucumber and let it sit for a few minutes, then squeeze with the cheesecloth. This will help you drain as much liquid as possible.

This Side’s Got It All – It’s Easy, Inexpensive, Light And So Tasty You Can’t Resist It!

If you ask me, there are side dishes – and then there are side dishes. What does that even mean, you ask…

Well, it seems to me that some of the side dish recipes I’ve come across are really heavy and filling. You could almost have them as a meal on their own, or at least by adding a single ingredient. That’s perfectly fine if you like that sort of thing, especially if your entree is on the lighter side. But what if you are serving something rather heavy for dinner, and would still like to offer a nice side dish to go with it? Sometimes you want to prepare something nice, instead of just tossing a quick green salad on your plate.

This recipe right here is the perfect solution for you. It’s just as easy to put together as a green salad (maybe even easier), it’s cheap, it’s so light you don’t have to worry about feeling stuffed – and most importantly, it’s delicious! So delicious you’ll probably be addicted after your first bite.

Quick Tip: If you want this to have more color, just wash the cucumbers thoroughly instead of peeling them.
