Trust Me When I Tell You, This Is Nacho Ordinary Appetizer!

Some of you may think I’m exaggerating when I’m talking about holy trinity and nachos in the same sentence. But I honestly think that you can never go wrong when your recipe includes these three sacred ingredients; bacon, barbecue sauce and cheddar. Seriously – doesn’t that immediately make you think of game nights, spending time with friends and family, having a cold one and enjoying super tasty appetizers?

Although I have to say I’ve made these incredible BBQ nachos for dinner, too! My kids love’m so much that they vanish within minutes of taking them out of the oven. I’m not surprised! Amazingly crunchy, with all that wonderful cheese and – of couse, bacon!

I am dying to make these again this weekend and add some diced jalapenos. If you’re making these for a larger group, you could add jalapenos to the other half of the batch and leave the other half without, so that people can choose for themselves.

You May Not Need An Entree When You’re Serving These Awesome Green Beans

I don’t care too much for complicated side dishes. It seems to me these days I’m happy if I have enough time to make a proper entree, so a side dish to me is usually a bunch of plum tomatoes, each cut in half.

I guess that’s why I love green beans so much. It really doesn’t get much easier than that! We’ve had them pretty often lately, not just because they’re tasty and good for you, but also because you can whip them up in no time. My husband was getting a little tired of them… so I had to figure out a way to amp them up without turning them into one of those complicated side dishes I try to avoid.

This recipe is perfect! You really don’t have to do much else than fry the sliced onion and you’re almost done. You heard me! Then you just sit back for a few minutes, with your glass of wine, while the green beans are cooking. Now, that’s my kinda recipe!

These will make you feel like you’re dining in a fancy restaurant!

I don’t know about you, but I have been crazy about all kinds of potato dishes since I was a little kid. My parents had a small farm where we grew our own potatoes, so my mother would always experiment with new potato recipes – or come up with her own. Some of them turned out better than others, and some were so good that my siblings and I still make them the same way for our own families now. I always preferred the simple dishes, the ones with a handful of tasty ingredients.

Like these cheesy potatoes, for example. Mom would serve these as a side dish on our Sunday dinners, and sometimes one of us would sneak into the kitchen and eat the leftovers for lunch on their own (it may or may not have been me, and my brother may or may not have gotten really mad at me).

These potatoes always bring back memories from all those years ago and I am trying to pass the tradition on to my children. So far so good – they both absolutely love these! And who wouldn’t; these are super scrumptious!

Argo cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, barilla pasta, beer and cheese soup, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, Borden, brown sugar, Campbell’s soups, casserole, cheddar, Chiquita, Clabber Girl, College Inn, Cool Whip, crock pot, Daisy sour cream, dessert, Dole, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, fisher nuts, food, Gold Medal flour, granulated sugar, Green Giant, Hershey, Hodgkin’s Mill, Jell-O, Jif peanut butter, Johnsonville, keebler, Kerrygold butter, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, Libby, McCormick spices, Morton salt, Pam Cooking Spray, Pepperidge Farm, Philadelphia cream cheese, Powdered sugar, recipe, Ritz crackers, Sara Lee, Sargento, slow cooker, Thorn Apple Valley, Toll House, TruMoo milk, tyson, vanilla, vanilla extract, Vlasic, Wesson vegetable oil, whipped topping

I am a huge fan of cheese and my husband is an even huger fan of beer. So one day, i got the great idea to put them both together and what transpired was delicious. Have you ever made or tried beer and cheese soup? If you answered, “no” then you are in for a real treat! Putting beer and cheese together to make soup ends with explosive results. Don’t worry, I’m not hinting at your kitchen blowing up, but what I’m saying is your taste buds will be forever grateful to you for feeding them this amazing concoction of zesty beer and creamy cheese.

Don’t worry, all of the alcohol in the beer is burnt off during the cooking process so this cheese soup is perfectly appropriate for children and non-drinkers. My sister was all worried when I told her I was feeding beer and cheese soup to the kiddos for dinner. I told her to chill out, there aren’t any traces of alcohol in the soup after it is cooked. She looked pleasantly relieved and grabbed herself a spoon and bowl. Apparently, sister had invited herself over for dinner 🙂

Between hungry kids, dirty dishes, and a million other things going on, I want to toss all of the food groups into one baking dish, set the oven at 350, and call it good.

Is that even possible?

Yes! Yes, it is very possible with this one-pan wonder. Combine pasta, chicken breast, bacon, and cheese together in your favorite baking dish and smother it with a creamy sauce for the perfect busy weeknight meal. It’s easy to make, tastes great, and fills hungry bellies nicely.

American cheese, baking powder, baking soda, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, canola oil, cheddar, Clabber Girl, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, food, Gold Medal flour, ground beef, Johnsonville, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, McCormick spices, Morton salt, patty melt, Pepperidge Farm rye bread, recipe, sandwich, Swiss, TruMoo milk, unsalted butter, Wesson vegetable oil, Yellow onion

Have you ever had a hankering for a juicy beef patty but you have no burger buns? Never fear! You can totally feed your craving by making a patty melt. All you need is a thick slab of ground beef browned to perfection, caramelized onions, cheese, and two pieces of toasted bread to sandwich it all between.

If you ask me, this sounds like it would taste BETTER than your average run-of-the-mill hamburger. Besides the burger, the fact that you get to pan fry the bread sounds delectably delicious! Why not give this bude of a recipe a try tonight for dinner?

Here’s A Recipe That Is Helping Homemakers Take Spaghetti To A Whole New Level

baked, barilla spaghetti, basil, Bertolli Olive Oil, cheddar, Daisy sour cream, dinner, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, food, Jiff, Johnsonville, Kraft shredded cheese, land o lakes butter, McCormick spices, Morton salt, mozzarella, onion, Oregano, Parsley, Philadelphia cream cheese, recipe, spaghetti bake, TruMoo milk

You’ve never tasted spaghetti until you’ve tasted spaghetti mixed with a rich creamy cheese sauce and baked until a fine level of perfection has been reached. This recipe combines everything you love about the classic Italian meal and so much more. We aren’t kidding, you won’t be able to put your fork down!

I find spaghetti cream cheese bake to be easier to make and much less of a mess than traditional spaghetti and meatballs. There are less pans to clean as everything you need eventually ends up in one baking dish. Savor the scents of pasta, fresh tomato sauce, and zesty spices wafting through your house as this amazing entree bakes. When I make this dish for my family, I can hardly contain myself until dinner time.
