This chicken recipe is so easy to follow! In just a few steps you’ll have a glorious chicken dinner on the table and your family will think you spent the afternoon slaving over a hot stove. We’ll just let them keep right on a thinking that haha! Farmer Jack’s cheesy honey chicken breast bake is seriously the cow’s moo. My kids and husband absolutely loved this dish. The harmony between the flavors is outstanding. I love how the honey and dijon mustard complement one another.

I have made this recipe twice now and the first time I served it with mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans. The second time I served it over a bed of wild rice and  a side of applesauce. Both ways were equally divine.

Argo cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, barilla pasta, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, Borden, brown sugar, casserole, Chiquita, Clabber Girl, College Inn, Cool Whip, crazy crock pot turkey, crock pot, Daisy sour cream, dessert, Dole, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, food, Gold Medal flour, granulated sugar, Green Giant, Hershey, Hodgkin’s Mill, hormel bacon, Jell-O, jennie-o turkey breast cutlets, Jif peanut butter, Johnsonville, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, Libby, McCormick spices, Morton salt, Pam Cooking Spray, Pepperidge Farm, Philadelphia cream cheese, Powdered sugar, recipe, Sara Lee, Sargento, slow cooker, Sun-dried tomatoes, Thorn Apple Valley, Toll House, TruMoo milk, tyson, vanilla, vanilla extract, Vlasic, Wesson vegetable oil, whipped topping

Coming up with and making new and unique recipes is also fun for me. There have been times that my creations have totally bombed and my family was all like, “Please mom, don’t ever make that disaster of a dish again.” I was sure that this crazy turkey recipe was going to fall under my family’s “disaster” definition, but I was sweetly surprised. Shoot, this recipe surprised my taste buds, too! Crazy Crock Pot Turkey contains anchovies and sun dried tomatoes. Now, I love sun dried maters but anchovies? Nope.

But, instead of being a big baby about the whole thing, I decided to add the littles fishes to my recipe. I am very glad that i did because the flavor was amazing. This slow cooker masterpiece turned out way better than i could have ever imagined.

Cheesy Shrimp and Grits are a true southern meal. I remember eating them at Sunday brunches after church. There are many variations of this delightful dish but this is one of my favorites.

Rich creamy grits and spicy shrimp make a very flavorful combination. Mix in some cheese and top it off with salty crisp bacon and you’re sure to impress your guests.

Argo cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, barilla pasta, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, brown sugar, cast iron skillet, cheddar cheese, chicken breasts, Clabber Girl, College Inn, Cool Whip, deep dish, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, food, Gold Medal flour, granulated sugar, Green Giant, Hershey, hormel bacon, Jell-O, Jif peanut butter, Johnsonville, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, Louisiana Supreme wing sauce, McCormick spices, Morton salt, Pam Cooking Spray, Pepperidge Farm, Philadelphia cream cheese, pizza, Powdered sugar, Ranch Dressing, recipe, Sargento, Thorn Apple Valley, Toll House, TruMoo milk, tyson, vanilla, vanilla extract, Vlasic, Wesson vegetable oil, whipped topping

One of the things I love to do is try to recreate the dishes that my family finds most enjoyable when we eat out. I take it a step further by trying to recreate the recipe on a budget. One of the most challenging, but most rewarding, recipes was this cast iron buffalo chicken and bacon pizza. The original recipe was found at a local pizza restaurant in Alabama called Buck’s. We tried it while I was pregnant and it took until my son was 3 to nail all the flavors.

Though I am sure it is not 100% identical to the amazing pizza we first tried in that sleepy Alabama town, it comes very close. You can create this yourself with a cast iron skillet, chicken, bacon, and a few other key ingredients. The prep time takes about 15 minutes and the cook time takes 30 minutes.

Quick Tip: Don’t use a traditional buffalo sauce of hot sauce and butter. The butter will cause the pizza dough to be damp and mushy and give a raw feel to the pizza.

Pasta salad. The bowl of glorious ingredients that graces every summer picnic table from here to the southern hemisphere. We all make it and we all love it. However, I found that making  the same pasta salad over and over again using the same monotonous ingredients can get a tad, dare I say, “boring.”

So, on my wild goose chase for the perfect pasta salad, I came across this recipe for BLT ranch pasta salad. Now, I don’t know about you, but I love me some BLT sandwiches, and I also love ranch dressing. So, as you can probably imagine, this pasta salad recipe was a major hit with me. I anticipate that it’ll be a major hit with you as well.
