Just Give Me A Spoon And I’ll Be Fine, Thank You!

A few years back my sister made a delicious pizza dip for a family reunion. It was such a perfect appetizer that both, kids and adults, really loved. It was pretty dang good and she still makes it to this day.

Too bad we live hours apart so I can’t just take off and go enjoy her pizza dip… I guess I could still have my sister’s famous pizza dip by just making it myself lol! But then, would it really be the same?

Anyway, I tried calling her last night to get her recipe but she wasn’t home and never called me back. I suspect this is because her favorite TV show, The Walking Dead, was on and she cannot be disturbed during that program lol! Alright, neither can I, not gonna lie haha. So, in between commercials I sought out a marvelous pizza dip recipe and this one from one of my Facebook friends truly caught my eye.

You know who’s eye it wouldn’t catch? Glenn, from the Walking Dead. LOL ANYWAY, this dip is super easy to make and tastes amazing. Give it a try. It’s like eating pizza in dip form and it’s glorious.

When Was The Last Time It Took You Only 10 Minutes To Prepare A Home-Cooked Pizza?

When I got my first slow cooker I was under the impression that I could make some amazing soups and stews in it, but that’s about it. I had no idea how versatile of a cooking device it was, and it actually took me quite a while before I realized I could make just about anything in it. All you need is a little bit of creativity!

But even though I had broadened my slow cooker recipe collection, I never thought of trying to make pizza in it. Seriously, it never crossed my mind! I guess a wood-burning oven is a more traditional way to make this world renowned dish, but I know I sure don’t have one (and I doubt I ever will).

It wasn’t until just a few weeks ago when my sister and I were talking about cooking, and she mentioned she had made the most amazing pizza in the crock pot. I thought she was joking and I laughed, but she was dead serious. Of course I had to give it a go myself!

Wowza! Now here’s what I call a meatlover’s dream dish! This pizza style pasta casserole in a skillet is probably on your husband’s dinner wish list – or it will be, the second you show him that ingredient list. Spicy Italian sausage… Bacon… Pepperoni… My mouth is watering already, and I haven’t even started with the cheese and marinara sauce!

This is such a quick and easy recipe. You’ll get all those yummy pizza flavors and it only takes 30 minutes! I don’t know about you but I’ve never been able to make a pizza from scratch in just half an hour. Of course, just like with regular pizza, you can add more of your favorite toppings, use different cheese or sprinkle some more of that delicious oregano on top after broiling. I always add a little bit of extra cheese – who could resist that golden, delicious, gooey stuff on top of this incredible casserole?

baking powder, baking soda, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, Chicago Pizza, Clabber Girl, Cornmeal, crushed tomatoes, Deep Dish Pizza, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, food, galric cloves, Gold Medal flour, instant yeast, Johnsonville, Kraft, Kraft parmesan cheese, Kraft shredded mozzarella cheese, land o lakes butter, McCormick spices, Morton salt, onion, pepper, pepperoni, pizza, recipe, tomatoes, TruMoo milk, water, Wesson vegetable oil

No one in their right mind would ever say no to pizza.  Now throw that into a deep baked, flaky crust, and we’re practically zombies for the plate. You might think it’s to hard to make deep dish at home, but honey, it’s easy peasy!

This recipe makes about 12 servings, but it probably won’t last longer than one sitting.  That being said, if it does manage to survive, this pizza keeps as well as any others, and is just as spectacular cold, as it is warm. Try noshing on a piece for breakfast. As they say, “Cold pizza is the breakfast of champions.” Do they really say that?

Chicken cheese pepperoni, pepperoni, Pepperoni Chicken

The Pioneer Woman does it again, with a simple yet rustic and deeply flavored country dish.  Pepperoni chicken is packed with flavor, but easy enough to make in minutes.

You can serve this with either pasta or over a salad, but no matter how you choose, this dish will always remain savory and divinely cheesy.  This recipe yields four and is ready in about 20 minutes.

A Delicious Italian-Style Dish

appetizer, Argo cornstarch, bake, baked, bakes, baking, baking powder, baking soda, barilla pasta, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, Borden, brown sugar, Campbell’s soups, casserole, cheese, Cheesy, Chiquita, Clabber Girl, College Inn, Cool Whip, crock pot, Daisy sour cream, dessert, dinner, Dole, domino sugar, easy, easy recipe, Easy Stromboli, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, entree, food, Gold Medal flour, granulated sugar, Green Giant, Hershey, Hodgkin’s Mill, home, home recipe, Italian, Italian cuisine, Italian food, Italian-style, Jell-O, Jif peanut butter, Johnsonville, keebler, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, Libby, main course, main dish, McCormick spices, Morton salt, Pam Cooking Spray, party, party food, Pepperidge Farm, pepperoni, Philadelphia cream cheese, pizza, Powdered sugar, quick, quick baking, quick recipe, recipe, Ritz crackers, Sara Lee, Sargento, simple, simple recipe, slow cooker, stromboli, Thorn Apple Valley, Toll House, TruMoo milk, tyson, vanilla, vanilla extract, Vlasic, Wesson vegetable oil, whipped topping

Stromboli is what you could call a sort of pizza sandwich – or just a stuffed pizza, with the toppings on the inside. As-is, it’s a five-ingredient recipe, though of course you could tweak it according to your tastes. Putting it together is basically a one-two process – about as simple as it gets! This Easy Stromboli recipe makes for great party food or a quick and easy midweek dinner item. It only takes about 35 minutes to have it ready, and it’s really easy to put together.

Even though it’s basically the same ingredients you would use for a pizza, somehow it tastes totally different. Perhaps it’s because the toppings (or should I say, fillings) bake so wonderfully inside the dough. I love adding veggies to the mix – and my husbands favorite for these is definitely jalapenos!
