Fun Fact: In Roman times, eggs and butter were often added to basic bread to give a consistency that we would recognize as cake-like, and honey was used as a sweetener. The distinction between Roman concepts of cake and bread was therefore very blurred.

This Cheesy Bacon Dip is a great choice if you want to make a quick and easy snack for yourself or for any gathering. I love serving it with tortilla chips or crackers. My husband enjoys eating it with pretzels. It’s all up to personal preference as this is a dish that pairs so well with pretty much anything! How do you think you’ll be eating cheesy bacon dip?

As is, the recipe serves six people, but I don’t think that you would have any trouble expanding it as you need. Just some quick mixing and the dip bakes in about half an hour. How can you beat that? This is the perfect dip for any SuperBowl, tailgate, or backyard BBQ party. Just make sure you have the recipe at hand – people are going to be begging you for it!

appetizer, Argo cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, barilla pasta, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, Borden, brown sugar, Campbell’s soups, casserole, Chiquita, Clabber Girl, College Inn, Cool Whip, crock pot, Crock-Pot slow cooker, crockpot, crockpot meatballs, crockpot recipe, Daisy sour cream, dessert, dinner, Dole, domino sugar, easy, easy appetizer, easy main course, easy recipe, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, entree, food, garlic, garlic meatball, garlic meatballs, Gold Medal flour, granulated sugar, Green Giant, Heinz, Heinz ketchup, Hershey, Hodgkin’s Mill, home, home recipe, honey, honey garlic, honey garlic meatball, honey garlic meatballs, honey meatball, honey meatballs, Jell-O, Jif peanut butter, Johnsonville, keebler, ketchup, Kikkoman, Kikkoman soy sauce, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, Libby, low-hassle, low-hassle recipe, main course, main dish, McCormick spices, meatball, meatballs, Morton salt, Pam Cooking Spray, party, party appetizer, party food, Pepperidge Farm, Philadelphia cream cheese, Powdered sugar, recipe, Ritz crackers, Sara Lee, Sargento, simple, simple appetizer, simple main course, simple recipe, slow cooker, Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Meatballs, slow cooker meatballs, slow cooker recipe, slow cooking, slow-cooked, soy sauce, tailgate, tailgate food, tailgate party, tailgating, Thorn Apple Valley, Toll House, TruMoo milk, tyson, vanilla, vanilla extract, Vlasic, Wesson vegetable oil, whipped topping

These Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Meatballs make for great party or tailgate food or for a simple, hearty meal at home. It’s a really easy recipe. And, for that matter, the sauce only requires five ingredients, most (if not all) of which are likely to be in your pantry or refrigerator already. I love a number of different meatball flavors, but the honey garlic combination is a classic, and it’s a great option if you’re on a bit of a budget and want something low-hassle.

This recipe specifically calls for frozen meatballs, mostly as a means of making use of meatballs you already have on hand. If you are going to cook your own and are going to use your slow cooker for this recipe, I would recommend at least chilling them before putting them in there; they’ll be less likely to break apart if you do that.

You know how, once in a while, you feel the need to start a diet? Maybe not even a diet, per se – you just want to get rid of a couple of extra pounds or generally feel more energetic. Many of my friends swear by a low-carb diet. I haven’t tried it – mainly because I love bread so much that I think I’d go crazy after a couple of days! But when I found this incredible recipe and tried it, it blew my mind.

If you love the taste of a cheeseburger, but hate all the calories, why not find a way to substitute the bread? These stuffed mushrooms are the perfect, compact, and healthy answer to all your burger dreams! Ready in under an hour, this recipe makes 24 mushrooms. Serve as an amazing appetizer, or even with a green salad for a delectable lunch or dinner option.

I remember back when I was a kid and my friends would go crazy over a jar of Nutella… They’d pick a spoon (the bigger, the better) and start scooping that stuff straight from the jar, while I just had a taste and didn’t quite get it. I don’t know what I was thinking back then! But I sure have been trying to correct my mistake over the years!

That delicious Nutella flavor combines nicely with the classic “pie spices” to create a great sweet treat for fall and winter; these incredible Nutella Pumpkin Cookie Bars. I was a late-comer to the Nutella party, but I have to say, it’s a rather versatile ingredient. Of course, it tastes great just as a simple spread (on bread or what have you), but why settle for that, when you can use it to make such yummy cookies?

Stromboli is what you could call a sort of pizza sandwich – or just a stuffed pizza, with the toppings on the inside. As-is, it’s a five-ingredient recipe, though of course you could tweak it according to your tastes. Putting it together is basically a one-two process – about as simple as it gets! This Easy Stromboli recipe makes for great party food or a quick and easy midweek dinner item. It only takes about 35 minutes to have it ready, and it’s really easy to put together.

Even though it’s basically the same ingredients you would use for a pizza, somehow it tastes totally different. Perhaps it’s because the toppings (or should I say, fillings) bake so wonderfully inside the dough. I love adding veggies to the mix – and my husbands favorite for these is definitely jalapenos!

It’s safe to say that this recipe for Baked Ham & Cheese Party Wraps is meant for sharing. As-is, the recipe makes a dozen delicious wraps, topped with a delicious sweet & savory glaze. And especially considering that it’s party food (or VERY hearty snack food), it’s not exactly the most involved recipe in the world.

Ham and cheese makes for a good combination for a simple lunch or for party food. You may not bother with simple sandwiches again, though, once you see how easy it is to put these packed swirls of deliciousness. You can also very easily change the recipe a bit each time you make these – add some of your favorite fresh herbs, or use a little hot sauce in the glaze for a spicier touch!
