Chili is always a great option if you want a hearty, filling one-pot meal that makes an ample amount of servings. This Delicious Homemade Chili recipe makes use of a few clever twists on the classic dish to make it a bit leaner while still giving you plenty of that rich, savory Tex-Mex flavor.

Now that we can officially say the summer is gone and fall has arrived, it is again that time of year when I start thinking about making a good pot of chili again. It’s a really filling one-pot recipe (comfort food for me) that’s great for family meals and for parties. I believe that some form of chili is cooked at the tailgate I go to at least once per season. And every single person I’ve served this chili has loved it as much as I do!

It’s lamb made tender and super-easy with your slow cooker!  This Slow Cooked Lamb With Wine Sauce comes chock full of veggies and savory spices, not to mention a nice gravy for whatever you choose to serve with it. I can be a bit picky with my lamb recipes.  I don’t want the meat to be too tough or too, well, lamby.  This recipe does a good job of blending all of the flavors, not to mention offering the reader with plenty of options to vary it according to taste.

I thought that this was lovely over a bed of mashed potatoes, as shown in the photo. Given the amount of extra sauce that this makes, you could use it with pasta, and some pureed cauliflower would make for a nice bed, as well.  In any event, with something like this already made, you won’t have to get too fancy to have a hearty and filling complete meal. Enjoy!

You’re In For A Delicious Surprise With This Incredible Lasagna!

It may not be traditional, but this Cajun Lasagna may well be the best lasagna that I have ever had!  The five-cheese blend really hits the spot, and a clever choice of meat makes for a nicely balanced flavor that isn’t too grease-heavy.

Every time I look at that photo, it makes me want to bring out my pots and pans to make this immediately! I hadn’t had lasagna in ages when I tried out this recipe, as much as I love it.  Lasagna isn’t exactly known as an easy dish to make.  I am so glad that I took the plunge, though!

This recipe really makes for a cheese-lover’s and pasta-lover’s delight.  You will have to allow for a good chunk of time in the kitchen (it takes about two hours to cook), but if you have that time to spare, I assure you that it is well worth it.
