These “Monkey Tails” are a very kid-friendly sweet treat that even many adults will love. And with the right toppings (and bananas as the core part of the treat), you can even manage to squeeze in some vitamins and healthy fiber, too!
Now, I love bananas even plain, but even I really enjoy dressing them up a bit. And while it is still warm out (we still have at least another couple of weeks of hot weather left in my part of the world), most anything sweet and frozen is really refreshing. This very kid-friendly treat hits the bill nicely. It’s also relatively easy to put together and (depending on your choice of topping options, of course) very colorful. I think that it would be a big hit for a child’s birthday party in summer or early fall, though of course plenty of adults will enjoy munching on these frozen “monkey tails,” too!

Quick tip: Crushed hazelnuts make a great topping!
