Everyone knows chicken noodle soup warms the soul, but it really ignites a fire when you bake it in a cheesy casserole, with a butter crunch topping.

One of the best things about this recipe, is that it can be prepared ahead of time, so if you’re a busy bee, fear not – just pop it in the oven when you’re ready! Chicken noodle soup is the quintessential American comfort food and somehow always manages to make us feel better, whether we’re under the weather or just had a rough day. I have to agree… I’ve always liked chicken noodle soup and I think it’s one of the most comforting meals on the planet. However, there’s just that extra something about casseroles and baked meals! Here’s a new way to eat nachos without the guilt! Rachel Ray does it again, with spicy pulled chicken, zesty Spanish flavors, and a crispy tortilla crunch.

A flavor packed recipe, with tender shreds of chicken, earthy black beans, and full of cheesy tortilla temptation. Although this dish has a lot of ingredients, it’s packed with so much flavor, you’ll want to make it over and over. This casserole is perfect for those days when you need to cook for a large crowd. The recipe serves 6-8, so with a nice green salad and some crusty bread on the side, everyone will be satisfied – and begging for the recipe!

If you’d like to make this dish leaner, you can switch the chicken thighs to chicken breasts and use low-fat cheese. And if you’re short on time, use store-bought salsa instead of making your own Pico de Gallo.

One of my grandma’s favorite recipes, glazed with confectionery sugar and sprinkles, has now transformed itself into an even more heavenly dessert. Now instead of small cookies, you’ll have to worry about small slices! This dessert reinvents what a true Italian dish is, celebrating with not only sweet goodness, but ricotta cheese and olive oil as well.  Sprinkle on some Nonpareil cookies, and you got yourself a deal!

 

I’ve made this cake for so many occasions already; for a dinner party with friends, for my Mom on Mother’s Day, and for a baby shower. (It was a boy, so I covered the cake with light blue icing – everyone loved it!) I’ve been asked for the recipe so many times, I’ve been thinking about making copies and sending them out to all my friends and family members, haha! But I guess this post will do the same thing. What’s not to love about an easy bake casserole that bubbles inside with a prime selection of meats? Not for the faint of heart, this recipe has everything that pleases, in one cheesy dish!

This recipe shows you the best way to bake your steak. It serves 6, so I doubt you’ll have much left of this dish… Unless you decide to make two, which is a good idea, anyway! Dig in and enjoy the hearty elements of a casserole masterpiece.

It’s easy to slip in some of your favorite vegetables to make this dish a bit lighter. My favorite additions are broccoli and cauliflower, my husband loved this with tomato slices! This makes such a nice meal you may not even need a side dish – but if you do want one, try pairing it with a fresh and light salad. Or perhaps some steamed veggies, if you decide not to add them to the bake itself.

One of the essential tools for a busy mom is a crock pot. Especially when all you want to do is make a bunch of chocolate chip cookies, sit back and eat them all, instead of spending hours to make dinner for your family… You can bake a million cookies while this chunky, beefy concoction cooks to perfection! So yeah, I’d say that’s a very good reason to get yourself a slow cooker, if you don’t already have one! I actually have two, and sometimes I make dinner in the large one while I have dessert cooking in the other one!

This recipe makes 6-8 servings, but if you have a big pot, you can easily double it.  Set-it and forget-it, and let it cook all day while you can have your hands available for work, exercise (or really, just baking those cookies). You can also add any additional vegetables of your choice, as long as you add a little extra beef stock. Oh, how I love simple and easy dinners!

This meal has been one of my family’s favorites for years, and I’m sure it will stay that way forever. With a few little tweaks (add different veggies and spices) you can make it taste fresh and new each time.

My friend had a birthday party last week. She is a great cook and she loves to try all kinds of new dishes, so all she wanted for her birthday were different kinds of homemade treats.

A group of us friends got together with a bunch of special recipes, and we made lots of delicious things to give her as presents. This is the recipe I chose and it turned out a great hit! We all loved it – especially the birthday girl. A true classic, these little morsels of paradise practically melt in your mouth. It’s an easy recipe, with few ingredients, and makes for the perfect gift, tied in a festive bow.

One thing many people don’t know, is that these macaroons are gluten free. They can also be dressed up in melted chocolate or even with a cherry on top. Although this recipe says to bake for 30 minutes, you may want to keep an eye on them since the baking times may vary depending on your oven.

Put these in a pretty glass jar, tie a ribbon on top and you’ll have the most wonderful homemade present for any occasion!

Have you noticed that these kind of appetizers can add up on the grocery bill? I sure have, and I was thinking maybe it’s time to start creating my own!

I love cheese balls, all kinds of flavors, but I don’t enjoy spending all that money when picking them up from the deli. I decided to take a moment and do an online search for the best recipes. I tried three of them, and this cheddar bacon ranch cheese ball was absolutely the best one!

With only a handful of ingredients, this recipe is quick and easy to make, and sure to please the masses. Serve with any sort of chips to dip into indulgent decadence. Ready in just a half an hour, this dish is so cheap, you may just need to make two to make up for it! Actually, you’ll want to double the batch, anyway, because this will be gone in the blink of an eye…

You could also use the same recipe with different seasonings, to adjust the flavors exactly as you like them.
