Don’t Tell Me You Haven’t Tried These Yet!

Let me tell you something. I never ever thought there could be such a thing as gourmet Tater Tots. But here I am, trying to convince you there is! If you give this recipe a chance I promise you will not be disappointed.

These are tasty, very easy to make and just looking at them makes my mouth water. These little potato pillows of deliciousness are also freezer friendly. Make them in large batches when you have time, throw them in the freezer and you’ll have them ready just as easily as the grocery store version! You can really surprise your next dinner party, potluck or tailgate just don’t say anything like they are regular tater tots and everyone will be asking where you got them.

You know what my favorite thing is, though? I have two very picky eaters in the house – and they both absolutely love these homemade tater tots. That alone makes this recipe a huge winner! Please let us know how yours turn out and please share with all of your friends.

Seriously? This is a recipe not a class room with a correcting teacher. Leave it outside not in this forum where we are enjoying a recipe. Grow up!!!!!!!

Thank you BLG!! I am glad someone else feel’s the same way. I guess it’s makes them feel like they are smarter. You know how some people have nothing better to do then to find fault with someone else because they feel so insecure with their own problems that it makes them feel better if they can tear someone else down. SMH!

haha Kathy Johnson – very good point, but I think what she has is an “island|” but then, from the counter to the “island” would, indeed be an “aisle” lol

Rather than doing that, you could just not read the comments section. That would work just as well, and you could still see the recipes.

Is Marlie with antifa? Now recipe nazi trying to ruin fun time for everyone. I tried this using a large cast iron skillet with about 3/4″ of canola oil put in about 10-12 at a time. They were great. Will make this again many times I’m sure. As for Marlie. She could just need her meds adjusted. Nuff said

  16. Kevin July 21, 2017 at 9:51 pm Reply

Hey, everybody! These were great. I added a few strips of bacon – 1/2 cooked and crumbled into the mixture. Mixed some sour cream with chives in it for dipping. Delicious! (psssstttt – don’t tell marlie 🙂 )

If you make them a little larger and flatten them out, you have fancy potato pancakes.

Prolly dating myself, but as Graham Kerr used to say, “A recipe is just a springboard. Once you learn the techniques, you can jump to your own modifications.”
In other words, first learn to cook, then make it the way you want it.
    ‘Nuff said?

It is not an aisle in the Church; it is called a Nave….

    • Eileen October 3, 2017 at 12:13 am Reply

A church may have an aisle and a nave. The aisle may be in the nave–or not. Brides walk down the aisle, remember?
