The best EVER potato dish – and super simple, too!

I absolutely love au-gratin potatoes I will order them by default anytime I am at the steakhouse. Most of the time, though, they are considered a side dish – but it doesn’t have to be that way! This recipe has a unique twist.

If you’re like me, you’d be happy to have just au-gratin potatoes for dinner, seven days a week, and you wouldn’t get tired of them! With this recipe your family might not think you’re crazy anymore, because you can now amp up the side dish and turn it into your main course. Not only do these potatoes have the normal cheese and somewhat normal bacon, but these also have full boneless skinless chicken breasts which actually turns this in to a complete meal.

Not only is this easy but with the addition of the boneless skinless breasts it is relatively healthy as well. This would be perfect for your next pot luck or tailgate party. Please let us know how yours turns out and as always please share with all of your friends.

Wow, I love pies and I love cheesecake – and this amazing summery Lemon Lush dessert has some of the qualities of both while delivering a refreshing lemon flavor perfect for any time of year.

Different variations of this recipe have been around for years – decades, even, but this one really stood out from the crowd because of the little extra tweaks. The original creator of this dessert recipe has added some really nice touches to this recipe. For instance the crust has little chopped pieces of pecans that really add what I call the “Southern” dimension to this dessert. This is such an easy dessert to put together, and if your family doesn’t like lemon – just use a different type of pudding mix! This is sure to impress your family or would be perfect for your next potluck.

This is a very versatile recipe and you can change it up in multiple ways, to fit your taste better – or just to keep it fresh and new every time you make it. And I guarantee you are going to be making it often!

Right now I’m dreaming of tropical nights somewhere on the other side of the world… It’s fall and the weather is getting chilly – I just don’t want to let go of the summer yet! Fortunately there’s an easy way to bring back the summer vibes, and I don’t even have to purchase plane tickets. This pie sort of reminds me of coconut cream but the pineapple turns it into a super delicious and refreshing summer dessert.

There are a couple of really nice touches the maker of this recipe came up with. First off the addition of the Malibu Rum in the coconut cream filling is spot on! Next, by adding the pineapple juice and the coconut extract to the heavy whipping cream, it just really brings the flavor profile of this pie together and tastes well thought out. This pie will be a big hit with your family – and if you’re planning on inviting friends over for dinner, this should absolutely be your dessert!

What An Incredibly Easy Way To Make A Restaurant Quality Meal!

At first glance, this pasta doesn’t look like much, but that’s just a clever disguise. In Italy, many of the most delicious pasta dishes look very plain but hit your taste buds with a pow! This dish is exactly like that. Serve this to your loved ones and they are certainly in for a surprise! I’m pretty sure my husband thinks I was somehow able to smuggle an Italian chef into the kitchen! But no, I just followed this recipe I found over at Dinner Delish. It is super creamy and has a really rich flavor from the heavy cream and the Parmesan cheese.

The tricky ingredient that just makes this pasta really pop is the chicken broth. There is a huge difference in the end result making the pasta this way! Your family will love this pasta plus the fact that this is a one pot dish makes for easy and convenient clean-up.

Who doesn’t desire an easy clean-up? I know that if any of you raise your hands you are probably a glutton for punishment LOL! Seriously, though, make this garlic pasta. You won’t regret it!

This is a classic southern white sheet cake with chocolate fudge frosting. My Grandmother in Mississippi used to make a cake very similar to this to bring to the church potluck on Sunday’s. It was always everyone’s favorite cake!

One of the key ingredients to keep that southern flavor is the light corn syrup. Whenever I can taste a hint of it I automatically think of a southern dessert! When I was a kid I had a friend whose mother used to make the icing a little differently. Instead of corn syrup she added strong, black coffee. It was one of the best cakes I’ve ever tasted so if you want to go ahead and experiment with new flavors, use coffee! This cake is sure to be a hit with your family or its also great for a potluck or a tailgate.

This Heavenly Dessert Deserves To Be Served Year Round

Do you have a favorite type of dessert? I know at this point many of you nod your heads and say “Ah-ha, chocolate / ice-cream / cupcakes”, or whatever it is that you really enjoy. I am a sucker for any fluffy desserts with cream cheese and graham crackers because of my love for cheesecake! So when I saw this I obviously had to give it a try. I was not disappointed. This dessert is perfect for summer, the cool whip and the pineapple keep it very light and summery tasting.

While the graham crackers and the butter give it a very in depth rich flavor reminiscent of cheesecake. This is sure to be a big hit at your next potluck let us know how yours turns out and please share with your friends.

I swear, every time I make this dessert it’s like my neighbors can smell it from across the street because they always show up just as it is getting done. Luckily, I don’t mind sharing 🙂

My family originates from the South and this is, hands down, my favorite pie! I have fond memories of walking down the street in a small town in Mississippi and picking up pecans from the pecan trees – just right off of the ground, and my grandmother making a pecan pie with them. It’s those kind of memories that make us want to go back in time… But since no-one has invented a time machine yet, I’ll settle for this delicious recipe!

This pecan pie recipe has a little twist and I really like it. It calls for honey along with the karo syrup. The honey adds a nice flavor to this pie. This pie will be a hit for any dessert needs and it’s the perfect thing to serve for guests who drop by for a cup of coffee!
