ham salad spread

Ham salad spread has been shaping my family for years and now it will shape yours.

I can remember the good old days before electronics. can you? There was once a time when families sat down together for a meal without scrolling through Facebook on a cell phone. I can distinctly recall having a corded telephone on the wall and by golly, that thing better not ring, while we were having dinner or my parents, would be so mad!

My mother would make this delicious ham salad spread on Sunday afternoons and it was an amazing time of just sitting around the table and chatting. She shared this tradition with my husband before we were married. I think she wanted to get his take on quality family time. He loved the idea!

Pretty much everyone LOVES this ham salad spread! Has the thought of making ham salad spread ran through your mind yet? If so, click on over to the next page and delight yourself in the recipe and how-to video!

Thank you Betty’s Kitchen and YouTube for this great ham salad spread recipe!

You’ll Make These Fast And Devour Them Even Faster!

It seems to me people are always in a hurry these days, or maybe it’s just the way things are at our house… That’s where 30-minute recipes, such as these, come in handy!

I would love to serve homemade meals every single day but sometimes it’s just totally impossible to find time for cooking. My crock pot has become my best friend lately – thanks to it I haven’t had to opt for takeout, every day of the week! But occasionally I really feel like making something for my family, without using the slow cooker.

And that’s when I move to the opposite direction; instead of slow cooking, I find recipes that can be made really fast! I’ve written all of these down in a separate little cookbook that I titled “Super Quick Recipes”. Not a very fancy title, huh? At least it’s accurate!

Whether you’re looking to make an appetizer, dinner or dessert, there’s a recipe for that on this list. You can make all of these in 30 minutes (or less) but I guarantee it won’t take that long for them to disappear! What is your favorite, quick-to-make recipe? I’d love to read about it, in the comment section below!

I have to say, this German girl loves her some Irish soda bread! It is the perfect bread for eating with soups, stews, and casseroles. why? because its rustic texture is wonderful for dipping. You definitely do not have to be Irish to make it.

I am going to make a full-fledged Irish meal this year for St. Patrick’s day and you cna bet your Blarney stone that this Irish soda bread will be on the menu.

Amish rivel soup is easy to make and only consists of 5 ingredients.

I don’t know if you folks have ever heard of Amish rivel soup but boy oh boy, are you ever in for a treat. First of all, this soup is VERY EASY to make and only includes 5 ingredients. The fifth ingredient, minced parsley, is optional and is more of a garnish so you don’t have to sue it if you don’t want to. I like to use the minced parsley or chopped chives because it gives the soup a bit of color. Do whatever tickles your fancy 🙂

Amish rivel soup is near and dear to my heart because my mom used to make it all of the time when I was growing up. She would always put a pat of butter on top of the soup before serving it. Yummo!

Even I, who hated onions, loved my mom’s french onion soup. Isn’t that wild?

To this day, I still enjoy chowing down on French onion soup which is why I’m sharing this delightful recipe with all of you.
