These Delicious And Easy Pizza Roll Ups Will Heat Up Your Taste Buds!

I remember when I was 9 years old, my friend’s mom always made the most delicious pizza roll ups ever!

My friend would always bring them to school and let everyone have a taste. She also served them at her birthday parties. Sometimes we had a picnic in a nearby park. Everyone brought something with them and she always brought pizza roll ups. I had never even thought of an idea like that. How genious! Bite size pizza, yum!

Recently I tried this awesome pizza roll up recipe. I had never thought of using jalapeno and green chili in these, but I thought it sounded like a good idea. I tried it and it was so good! It gave a regular pizza roll up a nice twist and that little bit of a kick I enjoy. I’m definitely going to bake these for my next party!

Don’t forget – besides appetizers these would also work perfectly as a grab-and-go breakfast on one of those crazy busy Monday mornings!

I love Italian food. Ahh, how I love a good pasta dish, full of sauce, hearty with meat and with loads of cheese over the top. It is just the epitome of a comfort dish. Any pasta dish can really be transformed into something amazing. Some of my favorites are ravioli and tortellini. I so easily take these and elevate them to become a better, fuller versions of what they are. Say, add a combination of two sauces, add some different spices, or try out a different cheese.

The options are endless when it comes to pasta and you can get as creative as you would like without ruining anything! Recently, I decided to make lasagna in the crock pot. I had found a recipe and though it was the coolest thing so I gave it a go. Well, when it was time to make it, I realized I did not buy the right noodles.

Actually, I forgot to buy them altogether. I was a bit disappointed, but then realized I could probably still make a great dish with these ingredients and some of the other pasta in my pantry. I searched for a good recipe with those ingredients and found this lasagna soup.

I love a good Italian meal. Oh gosh, how I love when my husband tells me that he is in the mood for Italian! With him, it does not come often. He is just not a pasta kind of guy. He likes other things and although he will eat Italian, it is definitely not his favorite. That is why when he tells me he is in for some good Italian cuisine, I jump at the opportunity. A lot of times, we go to my favorite restaurant, Mike’s (ironically, that is my husband’s name too!) and I get a classic ravioli or maybe a lasagna.

This last time we visited my favorite restaurant (in the world!!), as the waitress was passing out the garlic rolls, she told me that they had a new special. She knows I love lasagna so she thought I would like this: lasagna roll-ups. Yep, they are kind of like fruit roll ups, but they are even more delicious. They take the layer of lasagna noodles, and add the ricotta cheese mixture as well as tomato sauce and meat and then roll them up and bake them in a casserole dish. It is a neat way to serve something so delicious!

My family are huge fans of Italian food. It is crazy because we do not have any Italian blood whatsoever, but if you saw our weekly meal planning menu, you would have never guessed that. We are loaded up with lasagna, baked ziti, and pizza among many other traditional Italian dishes. The one meal that we make the most is Chicken Parmesan. Not only do we make it a lot, but every time it is on a menu when we go out to eat, my family orders it. They just love Italian food, and that dish specifically.

Well, my mom makes this a lot, but it is quite a bit of work. She has to prep the spaghetti in a pot, then bread the chicken, fry them until golden brown, but not actually cook through. Then place them in a casserole dish, top with tomato sauce and cheese and then pop in the oven for the chicken to finish cooking and cheese to melt. I mean, yeah it is delicious, but it is so much work, which is why we have been on the hunt for a new and improved chicken parmesan recipe. That is when we found this one. The whole chicken part is prepared in one pot: the crock pot! That is our type of dish!

We all know what a struggle it can be, trying to cook a nice breakfast for the whole family before everyone heads out to work and school…

Sometimes I feel guilty for not eating breakfast at all, other times I just grab something that I know isn’t really good for me. I was searching for breakfast recipes that would be easy to make and wouldn’t require a bunch of weird ingredients that I never have in the pantry, anyway!

The preparations only take a couple of minutes – I mean, literally, two minutes, so I can throw it into the oven as soon as I’ve opened my eyes and then go take a shower and get ready. Argo cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, barilla pasta, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, Bertolli oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, boneless skinless chicken breast, Borden, brown sugar, Campbell’s soups, casserole, chicken, chicken alfredo, Chiquita, Clabber Girl, College Inn, Cool Whip, cottage cheese, crock pot, Daisy sour cream, dessert, Dole, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, food, garlic, Gold Medal flour, granulated sugar, Green Giant, Hershey, Hodgkin’s Mill, Jell-O, Jif peanut butter, Johnsonville, keebler, kosher salt, Kraft, Kraft mozzarella cheese, land o lakes butter, lasagna noodles, Libby, McCormick spices, Morton salt, Pam Cooking Spray, Pepperidge Farm, Philadelphia cream cheese, Powdered sugar, recipe, Ritz crackers, Sara Lee, Sargento, slow cooker, Thorn Apple Valley, Toll House, TruMoo milk, tyson, vanilla, vanilla extract, Vlasic, Wesson vegetable oil, whipped topping

Here’s a recipe that you are not going to want to put down. It is full of yummy flavors and the deliciousness of a plate of chicken alfredo, but it does not have the messy parts of eating it. Simple, tasty and totally delicious, this will blow your mind and make you bake it at least once a week.

My neighbor Anne came rushing over my house yelling, “here comes the best chicken alfredo you have EVER eaten!” She knows I love chicken alfredo, so she always brings me some when she cooks it. This time, I was baffled. She only brought a crock pot instead of her usual dish full of alfredo pasta with a side of chicken. When I looked in the slow cooker, I laughed and told her she must have forgotten what chicken alfredo looks like. She scoffed and said that she knows what she is doing and to pass her a plate. I gave her one and she served me a small square of this and then fed it to me. I was amazed. This was a plate of amazing flavors that I have always loved, but it is easy to eat in alfredo form. The sauce had a great taste and the lasagna as a whole did not disappoint.

Argo cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, barilla pasta, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, Bertolli Spaghetti Sauce, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, Borden, Breakstone’s Cottage Cheese, brown sugar, Campbell’s soups, casserole, Chiquita, Clabber Girl, College Inn, Cool Whip, crock pot, Daisy sour cream, dessert, diced tomatoes, Dole, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, food, Gold Medal flour, granulated sugar, Green Giant, ground beef, Hershey, Hodgkin’s Mill, Italian seasoning, Jell-O, Jif peanut butter, Johnsonville, keebler, kosher salt, Kraft, Kraft mozzarella cheese, Kraft parmesan cheese, land o lakes butter, Libby, Manicotti shells, McCormick spices, Morton salt, Pam Cooking Spray, Pepperidge Farm, Philadelphia cream cheese, Powdered sugar, recipe, Ritz crackers, Sara Lee, Sargento, slow cooker, Thorn Apple Valley, Toll House, TruMoo milk, tyson, vanilla, vanilla extract, Vlasic, Wesson vegetable oil, whipped topping

As much as I love Mexican food, I have a soft spot for Italian meals. I love the taste of pasta loaded with lots of creamy sauce. I love chopped chicken or meatballs that are the perfect size to pop into my mouth. Oh and let’s not forget the garlic bread! Any of these combinations I will take at any time of day. They are fun and delicious and you will be thrilled to have them for dinner.

The other day, my neighbor Anne came over my house lugging her slow cooker with her. It seemed hot and like it was full of food. She is usually the crazy one who will bring her food in a slow cooker instead of transferring it first so as not to burn herself. But anyway, she brought over her crock pot full of manicotti. Yeah, I know it is a weird place to prepare it, but the reason she brought the entire crock pot over was to prove that she had done it in there. I was shocked when I had a taste. It seemed too good and sophisticated to have been made in a crock pot, but there it was. That amazes me! She is so awesome at this stuff!
