WOW! These Recipes Are So Easy To Make!

When it comes to eating healthy, to me the issue has always been the lack of time. For some reason I thought it would be impossible to cook easy meals that were lean and tasted delicious. It turns out I’ve been wrong all this time – there are plenty of recipes that are healthy and could be called “fast food” because they are a cinch to prepare!

Whether you’re looking for a side dish, dinner or lunch, you’ll find a great option on this list I prepared for you. These easy meals are all tried and true, and my whole family loves each and every one of these.

These are great for anyone who is trying to watch her figure (or his!) but I guarantee you’re going to want to eat these even if you’re not on a diet. That soup alone is something I could eat for two weeks in a row – so delicious! All of these recipes are also easy to tweak; if you don’t happen to like one of the ingredients, simply use another one in it’s place and you will still get a wonderful meal.

I am making #3 for dinner today and I can’t wait to take it out of the oven… My whole house smells amazing right now!

I Never Knew It Could Be This Delicious To Shed A Few Pounds!

I enjoy spending time at church events; especially if it’s a potluck-type of thing, haha! Not that I wouldn’t enjoy going to church events, anyway, but every time there is food involved, I’m definitely there. The holiday cookie exchange is always a massive success, but I’m looking forward to our annual winter soup potluck. You wouldn’t believe how many great recipes I’ve gathered from there, over the years.

This cabbage soup is one of them, and it fits my post-Christmas mood perfectly. Sometimes I wonder why it is so hard for me to try and resist all the incredible desserts (and chocolate!) over the holidays. It’s virtually impossible – but at least I have this recipe to turn to, when the chocolate season is over!

I have worked my way back to my old jeans with the help of this soup, more often than I would like to admit. But it’s not just for those of us who like to watch our figure – by adding some chicken or ham I’ve served this as a hearty dinner for my family, and they all love it!

This soup never lets me down!

You know that dreadful moment when you’re trying to find an outfit for your friend’s wedding, and you suddenly realize none of your clothes fit anymore?

I am pretty sure there’s a mysterious creature living in my closet and it’s replacing all my dresses with the same ones, only two sizes smaller. How else would you explain it that the dress I was wearing in February, is now impossible to zip? Surely it has nothing to do with all the summer BBQ’s and daily ice cream cones.

Until I either catch that creature, or win the lottery so that I can replace all my clothes with new ones, I’ve found a brilliant way to ease into those dresses and skirts I would like to wear. I don’t like diets; I just don’t have the patience, but occasionally I feel the need to shed a couple of pounds. That’s when I start eating a bit healthier and adding some exercise into my days.

As most of us probably know, it can be a lengthy process. So I’ve come up with a way to jumpstart it! I eat this super tasty cabbage soup for a few days and it makes me feel lighter immediately.

Who Knew Healthy Could Taste This Delicious!

Dear friends – I have found it! The perfect recipe for all of us who are trying to shed a few pounds without starving ourselves! My goodness, this feels like victory already. You can really eat as much of this soup as you want, because it literally is zero Weight Watchers’ points! I may have to start shopping for new clothes soon; you know that’s the best part of losing weight, don’t you?

Now, if you don’t care about points you could easily add some chicken into this delicious soup, or some cooked, lean ground beef. There really are no limitations here – feel free to add more of your favorite veggies, too!

The point is (no pun intended), this is a great and tasty way to get started with a leaner diet, without feeling like you’re missing out on something. I’ve made this soup twice already and even my husband really loves it, especially with chicken!

I’m a huge fan of easy-to-make soups that can be stored for days and will make my life so much easier. I’m even more excited if I can make a soup that is said to burn fat while I’m eating it! Whatever the actual scientific studies say about this cabbage soup, it is definitely healthy for you. But most importantly, it’s so delicious that you don’t even think of it as health food. Lately, I’ve noticed most of my favorite soup recipes have a creamy base.

After all the heavy meals I’ve had during Christmas, I just wanted to go with something lighter. This awesome soup has a tomato base, which is way less fat than any of the creamy chicken soups I’ve made. What I love most is how versatile this recipe is! You can easily adjust it to make it just the way you like it.

I this soup to be quite filling, which is a good thing because then I’m not hungry again an hour later and rummaging through the refrigerator. You’ll really enjoy this yummy recipe 🙂
