Check out what Heidi had to say about her technique:
“I’ve found the best consistency for boiled potatoes comes from adding the potatoes to cold water and then bringing them to a boil, rather than adding the potatoes to hot, boiling water.”
Ingredients
6 medium white potatoes or Yukon golds, about 2½ to 3 pounds, quartered
3 tablespoons Heinz white vinegar

Another great ingredient is seeded and chopped cucumber…small pieces..really adds a bonus flavour to the egg salad. No Hellmans..nope…no flavour…gotta be Miracle whip salad dressing, or house brands work too. The mustard and green onions are very important to the flavour. Don’t think I’d want the vinegar in there, because the mustard gives enough tartness IMO.
