I put dumplings in this recipe and it’s even better. I cut up a head of cabbage with a diced medium onion, fry a pound of bacon and crumble it, and make dumplings with egg, water and flour. The dough is real sticky, too much flour and they’ll be too heavy. Plus some bacon grease. Delicious!!
