Cheddar zucchini bread should be packaged up and sold in fine bakeries across the nation.

Actually, it probably already is but we will just pretend that mine cheddar zucchini bread is the best and should be sold in fine bakeries across the nation. LOL! Actually, I found this amazing recipe over on my sister’s blog and I couldn’t be happier about it. The original poster of this recipe says that she found it on Facebook and adapted it to be her own.

I didn’t make any adaptations and simply followed the recipe as is. I’m glad that I did because I don’t think that it could ever get any better. I love the way it makes my house smell as it is baking, too. Yummo!

Okay, enough chit-chat, I bet you are ready to learn how to make this yummy recipe, right? Hop on over to the next page for all of the details. Enjoy!

They’ll Have To Drag Me Kicking And Screaming From This Scrumptious Appetizer!

I always look forward to our game nights with family and friends. We’ve had this fun tradition for years now with some of our friends; we take turns hosting each other’s families, and everyone always brings a little something to the party. The hosts make any bigger meals, if that’s what they decide to serve, but whoever’s coming over as a guest will bring an appetizer, a six pack or whatever they think is suitable for the occasion.

Lately I’ve been trying to find a dip that would tickle my fancy. It seems I’ve grown tired of the same old shrimp dips, guacamole or salsa, and I really wanted to bring something super delicious to our next event. As soon as I came across this awesome Tex Mex dip over at Guy’s Home Kitchen, I just knew this would be it!

I am most definitely making a double batch of this goodness because there’s no way my tex mex loving friends would ever settle for one! This is the perfect combination of flavors, if you ask me, and I can’t wait to dip my tortilla chips in this – or maybe I’ll just eat it with a spoon…

This crescent roll recipe reminds me of that one night when my niece came over to sleep in my house.

She was in one of those moods that kids often have at this age. The moment I closed the door behind Andy, who brought her to me, she already started launching into one of her stories. This time, it was about the moon. She told me that her teacher taught them the different faces (they’re called phases, I know, but she thought they were spelled as faces) of the moon and their effects on the tides.

All night she talked about nothing but the moon. I made her soup for dinner, a creamy potato soup which she loved, and then I paired that off with crescent rolls that have ham and cheese inside them. I usually loved them plain, but since I knew she was coming, I put in a few treats inside.

She was staring at the crescent rolls the whole time and told me they looked like half moons. She was also trying to carve a face on the rolls with her fork, which I forbade her to do. I told her she shouldn’t play with her food.

Fortunately, my niece always listened to me and just started eating her dinner. But I still heard her say, “Goodbye, Mr. Moon” before biting into the soft pastry. On the next page is a recipe for the perfect crescent rolls that you will surely enjoy.

This Dip Isn’t “Horsing” Around When It Comes To Bold Flavor

It wasn’t until I was in my early 20s did I ever even try horseradish.

My parents never ate it, so we didn’t have any in the house. I never really thought I would like it. I think it’s because the name is “horse” radish? I don’t know for sure, but it was a friend at one of my jobs that I worked after college that actually talked me into trying the stuff. I couldn’t believe how much I loved the flavor. I knew then what I was missing, and I wasn’t going to let that happen for another second. I started putting horseradish on all my sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, anything that I could think of.

After all, I had to catch up from all the years that I missed! You can imagine how excited I was when I found this horseradish bacon chip dip on the web.

There are two of my favorite flavors combined into one special dish. I love dip anyways, so I knew it was going to be great. I was pleasantly surprised. It was even better than what I had thought it’s a good thing this recipe makes a lot… because we ate it all!

A Slice Of This Goodness Will Melt In Your Mouth And Make You Sing “New York, New York”

I Love It, You’ll Love It, Everyone Loves It!

I am a laid back, countryside kind of girl at heart, but occasionally I love to get a feel for “the city life”. I’m so used to small town living that whenever I visit a bigger place, I always find something new and fascinating. All the cafes, the traffic, the amount of people – I like to just sit down and watch everyone and everything go by. And that’s exactly what I was doing when I had my first ever slice of New York style white pizza.

Certain foods and flavors always give me a flashback, and this type of pizza is one of them. Whenever I make this at home, I remember that moment in the city – I even remember some of the people I saw crossing the street, having an argument or kissing each other goodbye.

These days I like this white pizza even better than any of your regular ones, with tomato sauce. In my opinion, this is a lot easier to make, too! It doesn’t take long to whip up one (or two, or three) of these and have a great dinner with your family or friends.

Hey, everyone! So, even if you don’t like onions you should consider giving this recipe a try.

It’s packed with sweet flavor and yummy seasonings that even the pickiest of eaters will enjoy. Seriously, eating a sweet Vidalia onion is like eating veggie candy, in my opinion. In fact, my grandpa used to make sweet Vidalia onion sandwiches and they were heavenly. He’d just slice up a raw onion and put it between two pieces of raw bread with a dab of mustard. Yummo! I love putting these onions on my cheeseburgers. I’m more of a burger gal than a dog gal. It’s probably because when I was a kid we were only offered hot dogs while the burgers were reserved for the adults.

Those sandwiches were good but boy oh boy did our breath ever stink afterward LOL!

So, yeah, give these hot dog onions a try. I know you’ll like ’em 🙂

I absolutely love going to the state fair.

Every year since I was a baby, my parents took all their kids to the fair.  We loved riding everything (although my mom was always freaking out thinking something would break down!), watching the shows, seeing the exhibits, petting the animals and getting our Dippin’ Dots.  All of it was the highlight of our trip and we looked forward to it as if it was the best thing to come around town all year!  And it was!

Now fast forward a few years and I am part of the adult team that goes.  I still love going every year whether it is to ride or watch the kids.  But, my favorite part of the trip is no longer the exhibits or rides, but the food.

But my favorite has always been the corn dogs. I love slathering those up with ketchup and eating away.  Right across the way from my favorite corn dog stand is a little kid’s basketball game, so I always make the little kids play for a bit so I can enjoy my corn dog in peace.  To me, it is the best part of the trip.
