It wasn’t until I was in my early 20s did I ever even try horseradish.
My parents never ate it, so we didn’t have any in the house. I never really thought I would like it. I think it’s because the name is “horse” radish? I don’t know for sure, but it was a friend at one of my jobs that I worked after college that actually talked me into trying the stuff. I couldn’t believe how much I loved the flavor. I knew then what I was missing, and I wasn’t going to let that happen for another second. I started putting horseradish on all my sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, anything that I could think of.
After all, I had to catch up from all the years that I missed! You can imagine how excited I was when I found this horseradish bacon chip dip on the web.
There are two of my favorite flavors combined into one special dish. I love dip anyways, so I knew it was going to be great. I was pleasantly surprised. It was even better than what I had thought it’s a good thing this recipe makes a lot… because we ate it all!
