My family originates from the South and this is, hands down, my favorite pie! I have fond memories of walking down the street in a small town in Mississippi and picking up pecans from the pecan trees – just right off of the ground, and my grandmother making a pecan pie with them. It’s those kind of memories that make us want to go back in time… But since no-one has invented a time machine yet, I’ll settle for this delicious recipe!

This pecan pie recipe has a little twist and I really like it. It calls for honey along with the karo syrup. The honey adds a nice flavor to this pie. This pie will be a hit for any dessert needs and it’s the perfect thing to serve for guests who drop by for a cup of coffee!
