I Wouldn’t Mind Eating This For Two Weeks In A Row!

Being the work-from-home parent in our house, I’ve decided it’s my job to plan the menu and take care of all the dinner preparations.

My husband would be more than happy to take turns, but since I personally hate grocery shopping I’m just letting him do that, instead! To me, that’s a big win! To be honest with you, ever since I got my first slow cooker, making dinner has been a breeze. I didn’t think meals would turn out as delicious in the crockpot but I was so wrong! Some of them turn out even better than their stovetop counterparts, and I guess that’s because they get to slowly cook to perfection, for hours.

This recipe from the Slow Cooker/Crockpot YouTube channel is one of my favorites. I had made Salisbury steak a hundred times before, but never in the crockpot. Once I tried this recipe, there was no going back. I’m so glad I came across their video, you should check it out, too!

I Like To Spell It D-I-V-I-N-E

Struggling with two very picky eaters I’ve realized you can never have too many delicious and easy chicken recipes. For some reason it seems that these “refined taste buds” accept chicken better than they do any other kind of meat. Or maybe it’s just that way in my family – what kind of dishes and ingredients work best for your picky eaters?

Although my kids could eat the same chicken dishes over and over again, it gets a little boring for mommy and daddy at times. That’s why I’m always searching for meals I haven’t tried before. I came across this easy chicken divan on Facebook and I thought it looked really inviting.

It was so awesome! My kids wanted to have seconds, which is a big deal! Somehow I had this idea that all chicken divan recipes would be really complicated of time-consuming but apparently it isn’t true. This was really quick to prepare, probably around 15 minutes, and it makes a great meal for the whole family.

I Can’t Believe How Awesome These Turned Out!

If you’re a busy mom or dad, or just someone who enjoys home-cooked meals but doesn’t always have the time for all the prep work, we’ve got just the thing for you! We all know preparing a pot pie can be a little time-consuming but these super cute mini chicken pot pies will be ready in 40 minutes!

My husband loves these; he often has to leave for work so early, he doesn’t have time to eat breakfast. So I try to keep a bunch of these pies always ready in the freezer – he can just grab one, throw it in the microwave oven for 30 seconds and have his breakfast in the car!

I have been making a batch of these almost every week, ever since I first tried the recipe. You can make so many variations just by adding different kinds of protein or frozen veggies, and adding all kinds of herbs and spices you enjoy the most. I love adding a little taco seasoning with the chicken!
