No extended slaving in the kitchen to produce these concentrated bites of yumminess! I think that you’ll love the flavor. Just a tip: go with milk instead of water unless you really need to go a bit light. The glaze is beautiful and tasty with just the water, but with the milk, it is creamy and out of this world. You might also consider putting small strawberry slices on these to make a nice garnish. You know, might i add, that the pink color of these brownies is simply adorable. So pretty!
Check out what my pals over at Family Savvy had to say about these yummy strawberry brownies:
The brownies are slightly dense but still have a cake-like crumb. One friend told me these reminded her of a glazed strawberry cake doughnut. The softer middle does stay moist and has a similar crumb to cake. The edges always cook more quickly, but we cut them off and eat them anyway. They have more of a crumbly, scone texture. These are just unique and hard to describe, but they are outstanding!!
This is one dessert recipe you do not want to miss out on!
Ingredients
1 box strawberry cake mix (I used Duncan Hines)
2 Eggland’s Best eggs
1/3 cup Wesson oil
1 cup Domino powdered sugar
½ -2 TB water or Borden milk
Directions
(1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
(2) Line 8″ square baking pan with parchment (and spray with Pam).
(3) Mix strawberry cake mix, eggs, and oil with hand mixer until well combined.
(4) Spread batter evenly into pan.
(5) Bake for 15 minutes or until just set; be careful not to overcook.
(6) Allow brownies to cool for 10 minutes; lift carefully from pan using ends of parchment to lift.
(7) Mix powdered sugar and water (or milk) until smooth.
(8) Pour glaze over brownies, spreading to edges so that glaze will drip down sides.
(9) Allow brownies to cool and glaze to set before cutting into squares.

An 8 inch pan and bake only 15 minutes. Is that correct? Doesn’t seem enough time for a cake mix in an 8 inch pan.
