“There are so many different recipes on the internet for various ways to make tacos. We really enjoy this one because you get to scoop out as much as you like…no portion controls here! And it has all of the fixings that make tacos taste good…all in one casserole dish.

It doesn’t matter if you are young or old; everyone loves this casserole. Imagine getting all the great fixings in every bite. If we knew about this recipe when we were kids, we would have requested it all the time. So go ahead and spoil the family and make this casserole for them today.”

We can’t wait to hear about what you think of this awesome recipe. Let us know in the comments 🙂

Ingredients

2 ounces Tostitos Tortilla Chips (about 24), plus additional for serving
1 Tbsp. Chili Oil (or olive oil and red pepper flakes)
1 Onion, chopped
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1-pound Ground Chicken
2 Tbsp. McCormick Taco Seasoning
1 can Bush’s Black Beans, drained
1 cup Pace Hot Salsa
1 cup Kraft shredded Reduced Fat Cheddar Cheese
Optional: Other toppings such as jalapenos, olives, etc.

Instructions:

Heat oven to 350.

Heat oil in a large skillet. Add the onion and garlic and saute until soft. Add meat and taco seasoning. Cook, breaking up meat with a spatula, for about 5 minutes. Add beans and salsa. Cook until salsa thickens.

Line the bottom of a large baking dish with tortilla chips, pressing down on them lightly to break them into bite-sized pieces. Spread the meat and bean mixture over the chips and top with cheese. Add jalepenos or other toppings that you want to be cooked. Bake for 20 minutes.

why can’t we print your recipes with out having to print 4 pages?

    • Joy May 4, 2017 at 8:40 am Reply

Highlight the info you want to print, then right click your mouse. Click on the word print and then another page will come up showing the highlighted information. You can print the info from that page. That way instead of printing four pages you will only be printing one or two pages.

Before mentioning it is a German recipe, mention what region. North, South or etc. Your Butter cake gives no indication. I am vom the North, Bremen, Germany.

There is a wonderful place http://www.printfriendly.com — copy the address of the page you want to print. From there, you can subtract anything you don’t want to print, resize photos, etc. or make a PDF page. It’s a miracle! I swear I use it once or twice a day, at least. For recipes, for crafts, etc. You know what I’m talking about.

if i need to save a recipe i have 2 different ways. 1: i book mark the recipe i want to save in my phone and on my pc. 2: i copy the entire recipe tips and all paste it to my e-mail, mail it to my other email, this way i have it saved in 2 places and then i can delete it off my pc. if you have only e-mail then e-mail it back to yourself it will loop and come back. make a folder and send the recipe to the folder. i know it sounds like a bit much but it works for me.
