When it comes to Italian foods I’m all in. I love lasagna, stuffed shells, and pizza. However, sometimes I need a meal that’s going to stick to my ribs a bit more and that offers more protein like this chicken parmigiana does. Guys, this stuff is GOOD. I love the tomato sauce and how it smothers the juicy, tender chicken breasts. Plus, you get to use a meat mallet. Fun!

Funny story, but I was pounding away at the chicken breasts and my youngest son walked in the door and thought i had lost my mind lol! I told him that I was tenderizing the meat so naturally, he wanted to give the chicken breasts a whack, too. We had fun making this meal 🙂

Quick Tip: Even though the recipe calls for canned tomatoes feel free to use fresh if you’d like.

I am a huge fan of macaroni and cheese. I love making it in different ways and adding plenty of fun flavors like smoked paprika. This recipe is amazing because it combines the heartiness of macaroni and cheese with the juicy flavors of beef. Yum! This is a meal that will really stick to your ribs.

My husband and kids really enjoyed this casserole and at first I was uncertain if they would or not because of the addition of the hamburger. You see, my family members are some serious mac and cheese eaters and they don’t like their dish to be tampered with. Needless to say, they didn’t mind this recipe at all 🙂

When I was growing up my mother would make this awesome chili cheese casserole that nobody ever complained about because it was so cotton pickin’ good. It contained beef, macaroni, chili, and cheese. Yum! She would bake it in the oven until perfection and then we’d all chow down. Ah, those were the days!

Even my dad never complained about this amazing casserole and he often took leftovers with him to work the next day. I bet my husband will do the same. So, now, I am sharing this amazing chili cheese recipe with all of you because I know you guys and gals will love it. It’s simple to make and very filling. Enjoy!
