For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been a huge fan of gingersnap cookies. When all the other kids were picking out chocolate chip or peanut butter cookies to eat I was asking for the gingersnaps. So, you can imagine my delight when I came across this amazing recipe for gingerbread cream cheese bites. These little bites are seriously so rich and creamy that they just kind of fall apart in your mouth.

I made a test batch yesterday and the results turned out astonishing. My husband and kids could not stop eating these bites and quite honestly, neither could I! I had to take the rest of them down to my neighbor Sally’s house so that we wouldn’t eat any more of them. If you plan to make these for a holiday gathering I would recommend doubling the batch or event tripling because they go super fast.

My neighbor, Sally came over the other day with a dish in her hand and asked me o please taste test the contents. I looked at it and saw bacon so without further ado I scooped up a healthy mouthful onto a cracker. You don’t gotta ask me twice when bacon is involved. Wow! Was this dip ever good! Sally said it was called BLT Dip and she got the recipe from a friend of a friend.

I, of course, had to make this delicious dip for myself because it was so amazing. So, I decided to find a recipe here on the internet that I could share with all of you. Seriously, you guys and gals are going to love this one. it reminds me so much of the sandwich! I absolutely love it.

Luscious Lemon Meringue Pie – This Recipe Is A Keeper!

Pie is one of my favorite desserts. There are so many different ways that you can prepare it. I am a sucker for cream pies and lemon meringue is no exception. This pie is creamy, sweet, and has the best peaky meringue this side of the Mississippi. The best part about it is how easy this recipe comes together. Seriously, anyone can make this pie and have it turn out looking like a professional pastry chef made it. That’s one of the reasons why this is such a perfect treat to make when you have guests coming over.

The other reason is that it tastes amazing! I was so surprised to see how lovely the peaks of this meringue turned out. Normally, I have issues with my peaks looking  more like tiny little tumbleweeds.

Not this time! You’re really going to like this recipe. Enjoy!

This Cake Might Not Look Like Much But Let Me Tell Ya, It Tastes How Benjamin’s Feel In Your Pocket

Pound cake. We all love it, right? Well, I know that I do. I like to call this recipe the million dollar pound cake because I think after you taste it for the first time you would be willing to pay one million dollars for another bite. Okay, maybe not one million big ones but I bet you’d kick, scream, and cry like a baby until you could get another taste of this sweet treat. There is something shockingly smooth going on within this pound cake. I don’t know what it is but the inside of the cake is very creamy and rich feeling on your tongue.

I think it could be the pudding. Who knows, but it surely tastes amazing. This is one of those recipes you know you’re going to hold on for years and years!

Who knows, maybe I’ll even pass this on to my children one day. My family enjoys eating this pound cake with fresh fruit and cream. How will you eat yours?

So, the other day, Sally came over with this big bowl of what appeared to be potato salad. Mind you, it’s October so I wasn’t in the mood for picnic foods. However, I’d still pretty much stuff my face with potato salad at any time because that stuff is addicting! Okay, anyway, back on track. Sally didn’t have potato salad in her bowl she had caramel apple Snicker’s salad! Even better than potato salad.

Who would have known that apples and chunks of Snicker’s bar could make such a delicious dessert salad? I mean, guys, this stuff is beyond good, it’s amazing. I can’t get enough of it. My little boy helped me stir everything together and then we took a small bowl of it over to Sally to repay her for telling us about this awesome salad.

Hurry Up And Eat’em Before It’s Too Late!

Who here doesn’t like brownies? I’m guessing that would be none of you haha! Brownies are a staple dessert at my house. They are simple to make and the kids love them. My husband is quite partial to brownies, too. In fact, he has requested that I make him a nice pan-full to take to work. Apparently, he and his co-workers really love eating sweets on the job. So, I came across this recipe and figured I’d give it a whirl. Boy, am I ever glad that I did!

These Hershey syrup brownies are totally easy to make and they taste so dreamy! My husband was telling me that the guys at work are requesting that I make these brownies ever week haha!

I guess I have me work cut out for me. You can easily make these brownies, too. There is no fancy footwork and they bake up real nicely. I find that they freeze well, too, so feel free to bake an extra batch for the freezer.
