You won’t even believe how good mashed potatoes can be, with a few simple tweaks!
My son absolutely loves mashed potatoes. Ever since he first started eating “solid” foods. That was one of the first things that I ever feed him. My mom always said that the reason why he was waking up so much at night was because he was hungry. If I could fill him up, he would sleep more soundly. When babies don’t have many teeth, you don’t have a whole lot of options when it comes to feeding them. Mashed potatoes were my mom’s idea and it was a great one. As soon as he started having these for dinner, I started getting a full night’s sleep.
I used to make the potatoes just the traditional stove top way that my mom taught me, and then I found this recipe on Recipe Lion for sour cream and cheese potatoes. That was something even I was excited about.
These were even easier than traditional flavors, despite the fact that there are more ingredients. My son went crazy over these the first time that I made them and nearly ate the whole pan himself.

Ewwwww to your comment.
JP Ewwwww to your comment everything does not have to have cheese in it or on it or next to it.
i agree Mick and Jonny.
You also need to add 8ozs cream cheese and bacon bits The bomb !!
I say if you like cheese load them up or whatever you like in them, if someone doesn’t like the way you do them they don’t have to fix them. I put whatever I want to in my mash potatoes.
I think these sound delish.
I agree! Those who comment only to whine and preach are a pain!
