This Cheesecake Fluff Is Almost Too Purty To Eat… Almost

So, the other day, I was at a bridal shower and they were serving these lovely little cups filled with this pastel pink fluffy stuff. I naturally gravitated towards them because pink is one of my favorite colors. I dug my spoon down in deep into the fluffy goo that was set before me and took a bite. Wow! I think I saw stars. This stuff was so good! It tasted just like a fluffy cheesecake. Apparently, that is why it’s called cheesecake fluff. Makes sense. So, the giving person that I am, knew I had to run back here and share this awesome recipe with you guys.

Cheesecake fluff is one of those recipes that is just too good to keep to yourself. You guys are going to love how easy this dessert is to make and how excellent it tastes.

And for those of you who are worried about calories – you can use low-fat ingredients to make this dessert even lighter. I’ve tried it, and it was still incredibly delish!

I was just browsing through my folder of saved recipes and came across my beloved holiday dessert files. Now, I know it’s only August and we are a long way off from Christmas, but I think I am going to make this cake at my Labor Day BBQ. Guys, it’s a chocolate rum Bundt cake.

What could possibly be better than that? I mean, the ingredients are incredible and, well, it’s a bundt cake! We love bundt cakes. The flavors in this cake are out of this world. We had it last year during Thanksgiving dinner and everyone raved over it.

Now, you might be thinking that this cake is hard to make, but i assure you, it is not. In fact, it’s one of the easier cakes that I have made in my day. Just pour everything into your greased bundt pan and you are all set.

If you like beef stroganoff, you’re going to love this creamy, slow cooker, turkey version. Just like beef, this turkey stroganoff is flavorful, creamy, and tastes like a miracle in your mouth. I love the fact that it can be cooked in the crock Pot. talk about an easy supper idea! My kids and husband really enjoy this dish and we all like to eat it over wide egg noodles. I have heard some folks say that they prefer to eat their turkey or beef stroganoff over rice. I haven’t tried it that way…yet!

How do you enjoy eating your stroganoff? Would you ever eat it without the noodles or rice? I really like the stuff but I’m not sure if I’d go sans noodles or not. Let me know in the comments if you decide to make this gourmet slow cooker meal and how it turned out. I always love hearing from you guys!

Ever heard of Wacky Cake? It may be wacky due to its lack of common cake ingredients, but the taste is anything but. It has no eggs and no milk but it is super moist and delicious! It was invented in an era when those ingredients were hard to come by unless you were a wealthy family. So if you’re craving chocolate cake and don’t have those things then turn to this wacky yet delicious recipe for instant gratification.

My family loves this, and I always have some sprinkles on hand so once it’s frosted I throw those on top. It makes it more special, and really, any day can be special don’t you think? My daughter loves that it’s called wacky cake. When she was little she’d run around the kitchen saying, “Wacky! Wacky! Wacky!” While I frosted it. Those are some great memories I wouldn’t trade for anything.

Check out what my friends at All Recipes had to say about this Wacky Cake:

Delicious and easy cake! I only make this recipe now- I sometimes omit the cocoa for a plain white cake or add some grated/chopped apples and cinnamon/nutmeg/cloves for an apple spice version. 2 thumbs up!

Once you learn the basis for this Wacky Cake you certainly can switch up the ingredients. I always tend to go back to the tried and true chocolate version but it is pretty easy to make any flavor. One thing is for sure, it’s extra moist! Even more so than the mixes that claim to be in the store.

Ingredients

1 ½ cups Gold Medal All-Purpose flour

1 cup Domino white sugar

4 tablespoons unsweetened Hershey cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon Morton salt

1 teaspoon McCormick vanilla extract

1 tablespoon cider vinegar

6 tablespoons Wesson vegetable oil

1 cup water

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Sift Gold Medal flour, Domino sugar, Morton salt, and Hershey cocoa together into an 8×8 inch ungreased cake pan. Make three depressions. Pour Wesson oil into one well, vinegar into second, and vanilla into third well. Pour water over all, and stir well with fork.

  3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 40 minutes, or until tooth pick inserted comes out clean. Frost with your favorite icing.
