Hey, everyone! How are you all recovering from Thanksgiving? Are your pants still a bit too tight? I think I’ve been wearing yoga pants ever since turkey day. Oh well, that just means I have to kick my workout routine into high gear, right? I’ve found myself these lovely walking DVDs that you can do at home in your living room. They are actually really fun and the instructor is so full of energy. I never thought that walking indoors could be such a blast. I should probably be running after all the pumpkin pie that I ate, though. LOL

Anyway, today we are making a delightful cranberry bread that is made with wholesome ingredients like bananas and leftover cranberry sauce. Now, if you don’t have leftover cranberry sauce, never fear, just go buy some or make some of your own. easy peasy, my friend. This bread is really simple to make and it is ever so moist and fluffy. It goes perfectly in the morning with your coffee or tea and of course, a pat of grass-fed butter such as Kerrygold. Yum!

Cool Whip, cranberry, Cranberry Bread, Cranberry Loaf, cranberry nut

Cranberry is always a favorite flavor of the seasons, but when you incorporate it in a moist, and nutty bread, you have yourself a deal!

Home baked bread is the flavor of the season, so why not kick it up a notch with this delectably moist almond-cranberry roll?   Dusted with a light powdered sugar, this loaf is sure to please the masses and leave much for the imagination.

The winter days here up North can be challenging! Sometimes it’s the cold temperatures, other times it’s the snow storms that make you stay at home. This week my kids were sent back home from school several hours early, because of a snow storm warning. As soon as I heard they were on their way home, I rushed to prepare this cake. Every mom knows there’s nothing scarier than a hungry schoolkid, fighting his way home in the blizzard! Luckily I just managed to get these loaves out of the oven when they came home. Those happy faces when they saw the cake!

This is obviously one of the prime flavors of particularly the Holiday season, and it’s easy to see why. These light, cranberry tea cakes make for the perfect snack or after dinner dessert. Cranberries equate to festivity, but why not enjoy them year round, to make your weekdays special? This recipe is simple to make, and a rather light option for other heavy, buttery desserts!
