This combo of cranberry and lemon is super light and refreshing… and unlike anything, I’ve had in the past.

A delight for my sweet tooth! Yay! I love delighting my sweet tooth, how about you?

This cake has easily become one of my favorite holiday desserts. Of course, you don’t have to solely save it for the holidays. Feel free to make it at any time of the year that you want.

My husband kids even like it and they are partial to chocolate and peanut butter desserts if that tells you anything. You’ll be surprised how easy this cranberry and lemon cake is to make and the crumble topping is very simple to construct. You certainly do not want this cake to be without the crumble topping because it is ding dang dandy!

Thanksgiving is around the corner guys.  It is just FIVE weeks away.  FIVE. WEEKS.

That means just five weeks before what is possibly the biggest food day of the year comes around.

With people going crazy over what to make and how to prepare it, and preparing a schedule as to when to bake everything in one oven, I am bringing you help!  As you prepare for the big day, add apple, onion, celery stuffing recipe to your roundup.

My mom hosted Thanksgiving every year for as long as I can remember.  It is a tradition in my household already.  My mom really always went out of her way to make the greatest Thanksgiving imaginable.

She is always looking for new recipes to incorporate and ways to blow people away with original recipes with a twist.  This one right here is my new recipe as I host Thanksgiving this year for the first time.  I really think it will blow my momma away and she will ask me for this recipe for when it is her turn again.

There’s no swapping this recipe.  It is delicious!

Fill Your Belly With These Scrumptious Pinwheels

During one lazy night, I called my friends to see if they were free to hang out. It’s one of those nights that you don’t feel like doing anything, but you want some company. Since I was alone that time, I called each of my friends who lived nearby and invited them to hang out that evening. There were five of them who said yes. They even told me they would bring something that we could snack upon while we were hanging out. While waiting for them, I took out all of my DVDs, a box of cards, and even a board game. Whatever we wanted to do, at least they’re all ready.

They arrived a couple of hours later, bringing with them a few finger food that smelled really delicious. Over cold glasses of lemonade, we talked the night away. We all just wanted to hang out without doing anything. Sometimes conversations were enough. One of the foods that took my attention that night was Susan’s pinwheels.

They were full of cheesy goodness with a hint of sweetness because of the cranberries. I must have eaten a lot of those because I found myself not wanting to eat any cheese for the whole week. But then again, I didn’t regret anything at all. They were truly worth it! You can find the recipe for these amazing cranberry feta pinwheels on the next page.

Quick Tip: If you have a hard time spreading the cream cheese as thin as you prefer, add a bit of sour cream to make it more spreadable.

Argo cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, barilla pasta, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, Borden, brown sugar, Campbell’s soups, candied pecans, casserole, celery, Chiquita, Clabber Girl, College Inn, Cool Whip, cranberry, cranberry turkey salad, crock pot, Daisy sour cream, dessert, Dole, domino sugar, dried cranberries, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, food, Gold Medal flour, granulated sugar, Green Giant, green onion, Hellman's mayonnaise, Hershey, Hodgkin’s Mill, Jell-O, JENNIE-O Oven-Ready Whole Turkey, Jif peanut butter, Johnsonville, keebler, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, Libby, McCormick spices, Morton salt, Pam Cooking Spray, Pepperidge Farm, Philadelphia cream cheese, Powdered sugar, recipe, Ritz crackers, Sara Lee, Sargento, slow cooker, Thorn Apple Valley, Toll House, TruMoo milk, turkey, turkey salad, tyson, vanilla, vanilla extract, Vlasic, Wesson vegetable oil, whipped topping

I am a huge fan of fusion meals. Not only fusion as in two countries’ flavors fused into one dish, but just opposites in one meal. For example, salty and sweet. That is such a cool combination to me and I really cannot get enough of it. I love to chow down a good dish of salty and sweet pretzels for example. There is nothing better than a pretzel dipped in some milk chocolate. Yum, yum!

Now, since I love this so much, I really enjoy playing with different flavors to achieve it. We have something like this in our Cuban culture with fried ripe plantains. They are basically sweet bananas fried to golden perfection and eaten along with our normally savory meal. It adds a touch of sweetness to our meals that is so cool! So, I decided I had to get something similar but with more of an American style meal which is how I came up with this cranberry turkey salad. It is cold and has the mix of the salty turkey with the sweet cranberry. Together, it is the perfect topping for a green salad or filling for a hearty sandwich. There are so many yummy things to be made with this one!

Although you may be exhausted from delectable roast meats, this is the time of year where you get a free pass to splurge….so set that oven, brine that buddy, and get ready for a robust roast.

Cool Whip, cranberry, Cranberry Bread, Cranberry Loaf, cranberry nut

Cranberry is always a favorite flavor of the seasons, but when you incorporate it in a moist, and nutty bread, you have yourself a deal!

Home baked bread is the flavor of the season, so why not kick it up a notch with this delectably moist almond-cranberry roll?   Dusted with a light powdered sugar, this loaf is sure to please the masses and leave much for the imagination.
