When you’re having the busiest week of your life, simple recipes are a welcomed respite, from our long baked meats and slow cooked dishes. With a side dish as simple as this, you’ll have plenty of time to spend with the family. This only takes 2 minutes two prepared and about 20 minutes to bake, but the memories will stick with you! This can also serve as a perfect appetizer to your main course, as well.

This has been a lifesaver in our house on those days when the kids come home, starving (what is it about kids that makes them hungry ALL the time, huh?) and they just can’t wait for dinner. Just throw this in the oven – or better yet, let them help you make this! They will get their tummies full for a moment and you have saved the day – until dinner time gets closer…

The winter days here up North can be challenging! Sometimes it’s the cold temperatures, other times it’s the snow storms that make you stay at home. This week my kids were sent back home from school several hours early, because of a snow storm warning. As soon as I heard they were on their way home, I rushed to prepare this cake. Every mom knows there’s nothing scarier than a hungry schoolkid, fighting his way home in the blizzard! Luckily I just managed to get these loaves out of the oven when they came home. Those happy faces when they saw the cake!

This is obviously one of the prime flavors of particularly the Holiday season, and it’s easy to see why. These light, cranberry tea cakes make for the perfect snack or after dinner dessert. Cranberries equate to festivity, but why not enjoy them year round, to make your weekdays special? This recipe is simple to make, and a rather light option for other heavy, buttery desserts!

I was looking for new and exciting chicken dishes when I accidentally came across this one. I’ll be perfectly honest with you here; my first thought was “what in the world is this?” I haven’t been a big fan of olives but the combination with lemon made me curious. I thought, well, it can’t be that bad and I bought all the ingredients. What I got in return was one of the most delicious chicken dinners I have ever made in my whole life. This recipe went straight to my box of favorites, and it’s not easy to get there!

Bursting with flavor profiles, this dish is not only tender and juicy, but packs a powerful punch of lemon! Throw in some olives and garlic, and you’ve made yourself a meal. This recipe serves 6 and should be set to stew for about 5-6 hours, thus the slow cooker. Serve with a side of healthy veggies, like green beans or corn.

adobo, Argo cornstarch, bacon, bacon lollipop, baking powder, baking soda, barilla pasta, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, Borden, brown sugar, Campbell’s soups, casserole, Chiquita, Clabber Girl, College Inn, Cool Whip, crock pot, Daisy sour cream, dessert, Dole, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, food, Gold Medal flour, granulated sugar, Green Giant, Hershey, Hodgkin’s Mill, honey bacon, Jell-O, Jif peanut butter, Johnsonville, keebler, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, Libby, McCormick spices, Morton salt, Pam Cooking Spray, Pepperidge Farm, Philadelphia cream cheese, Powdered sugar, recipe, Ritz crackers, Sara Lee, Sargento, slow cooker, sriracha, thick cut bacon, Thorn Apple Valley, Toll House, TruMoo milk, tyson, vanilla, vanilla extract, Vlasic, Wesson vegetable oil, whipped topping

When I was a kid, I remember my friends and I all had different lollipop favorites. My best friend always wanted a ball-shaped strawberry and cream lollipop, for me it was the flat one with chocolate and caramel that I would rather spend my money on! I can’t even remember the last time I had a lollipop since I’ve grown up, but here’s one that I’d like right now!

These are the adult version of a lollipop. This recipe is really simple, and only features one main item: bacon… but who’s complaining about that? If you want to add a little more to this recipe, you can wrap the bacon around pieces of boneless chicken breast or steak tips, just make sure they are cooked first. The whole idea is to pack in the sweet flavor of honey, with a spicy edge.

During the colder months of the year I turn from a coffee addict to a hot chocolate fanatic. I don’t know what it is about hot chocolate that makes it such a perfect winter treat! I mean, coffee is just as hot and warming, but somehow in the winter my first choice is always a steaming cup of hot chocolate. And when I feel like taking it up a notch, I add a bunch of mini marshmallows or some whipped cream and cinnamon on top!

One of the most delicious ways to make divine hot chocolate. Warm your milk and watch these delicacies melt into a rich, warm holiday treat. Otherwise known as hot chocolate bombs, these delightful little balls are easy to make and just enough to soothe your sweet tooth. The recipe yields 15-20 balls and won’t last long on your kitchen table.
