For the longest time, I wanted something both sweet and salty. I considered eating potato chips sprinkled with sugar, but that just seemed like a bad idea. I’m glad I didn’t do that haha! Having that thought also made me wonder if I was pregnant because who on earth considers eating potato chips sprinkled with sugar?

Anyhoo, I’m not pregnant, just weird. I found this recipe for white chocolate pretzel blondies online and knew that I just had to make it. Have you ever made anything like this before? I mean, sure, we’ve all made/eaten blondies before, but these have white chocolate and pretzels in them!

When it comes to food, I’m a very down-home, country cook. I love making meals like casseroles, stews, bread puddings, and roasts. I especially love making biscuits and gravy and chicken pot pie. When I heard about this turkey and biscuit casserole with lemon and dill, my first thought was to pass it up. I mean, lemon and dill? Come on!

However, my sister had made this for her family and told me I really needed to give it a try. She said it was super savory and even her little picky eaters liked it. So, I decided to take one for the team and made the casserole. Oh. My. Word. I am so glad that I did. This turkey and biscuit with lemon and dill casserole is out of this world!

The Quickest And Easiest Way To Make A Tasty App For Your Party

Lately I have been trying to pay attention to what I’m eating when I’m not really eating. You know what I mean, don’t you? When it’s not breakfast, lunch or dinner time, and not exactly your coffee break, either.

It’s those moments when you kind of feel a little bit hungry and you want to have a bite of something in between your actual meals. Anyway, I’m trying to stay away from pastries and all that kind of stuff, but it’s not always easy to only eat healthy snacks. The other day I was munching on some celery and carrots and thought that they would taste so much better if I only had some dip. Of course, I didn’t have any on hand, but I did have dip-making ingredients. I was craving something a bit spicy like a taco dip.

I did a quick Google search to find the easiest taco dip recipe I could find and what I found will shock you. The Pioneer Woman never ceases to amaze me! Yet again, Rhee Drummond has come through with one of the easiest snack recipe on the planet. The taco dip recipe that I found only contains two ingredients! Can you believe that? And boy, is it ever good!

Lately, I’ve been super hungry for pear cake, and not just any pear cake, but a spiced upside down pear cake. Usually, I make this for the holidays and everyone gobbles it up like a bunch of hungry little turkeys. We are a few months’ shy of the holidays, but I don’t care! I need to have some spiced pear upside down cake in my life.

I set out to get my big box of recipes that I have saved over the years and wouldn’t you know it, my spiced pear cake notecard turned up missing. So, I went on over to Google and entered “spiced pear upside down cake” into the search engine and found this little gem of a recipe on The Pioneer Woman website.

What do you think of when you hear you someone say, “pie?” If you’re like me, you probably imagine sweet treats like pecan, chocolate, and apple pie. Well, folks, this isn’t a dessert recipe, but it includes a pie. Spaghetti pie, to be exact.

Now, before you turn your nose up to this idea, just hear me out. If you find yourself growing weary of the same old pasta dishes, you need to give this spaghetti pie a try. It’s simply delightful! It contains noodles, sauce, cheese, and lots of love. And don’t worry, the noodles stay al dente during the baking process. No mushiness here!

My kids love Puppy Chow. No, not the big bag in the pet food aisle! That’s for dogs, silly! This Puppy Chow is a flavorful treat to snack on featuring Chex cereal, chocolate and powdered sugar among other things. You will not be able to stop eating this delectable treat! I like to make it up and put it in Ziploc baggies so that I can toss them in lunches or grab a bag for a quick snack.

I remember the first time someone told me this was called Puppy Chow. I wrinkled my nose at them and said, “Really? But it looks so yummy!” They laughed pretty heartily and then told me what it was. I devoured that first bowl so fast! It was absolutely delicious. If you’re having a sweet tooth and you’re not sure what for, this is easily your answer. Plus, it’s SO easy to make!

The first time I made these it was to take to our first Jimmy Buffett concert, and so there were a lot of firsts! I found the recipe and figured they’d be the perfect treat for everyone – and they were! Who could complain about this flavor combination? The sweet pineapple, the coconut flakes and pecans all wrapped in cream and resting in a flaky pie crust… yum!

These pied disappeared faster than you can say “fins up” and everyone was really enjoying them along with the rest of our tropical fare. I loved it so much I could actually eat it rather than a traditional birthday cake. Throw some candles in there and I’m a happy mama! If you try these for any reason, remember to make enough! Everyone is going to want a second slice.
