This maple sausage apple brie quiche recipe brings together sweet and savory ingredients in such a delicious way, you won’t even know what hit you!
I wasn’t sure what my kids would say about this, but they were just as in love with the flavor as I was! If you can’t find maple sausage, though, it’s ok to use your favorite instead. However, I recommend asking your local grocery stores because it really turned out stupendous!
Ingredients
1 cup McArthur whole milk
6 large Eggland’s eggs
1/2 cup thinly sliced apples
1/4 to 1/3 lb of brie cheese cut into slices
1 pie crust
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp white pepper
1/4 to 1/2 tsp nutmeg
6-8 oz. of browned maple sausage
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Spray a ceramic pie or quiche pan and unroll pie crust into. Place in refrigerator while preparing the rest of the ingredients.
Brown the sausage. Cool slightly. Let drain on a paper towel.
Very thinly slice apples and cut Brie cheese.
Whisk the eggs and milk. Add salt and pepper.
Remove pie crust from refrigerator and layer ingredients in the following order: Cooked sausage; apples, and brie.
Pour egg/milk mixture into the dish.
Sprinkle top with nutmeg.
Cook for about an hour. Sides and center of quiche will rise up. Crust will be lightly browned and quiche will feel firm to the touch.
Let sit for at least 5 minutes before cutting.

Quick tip: Try using pear slices instead of apples!
