The first time I tried this, I was at a Bed and Breakfast with my husband a short time after getting married. We had spent a few days searching for a place to have a second honeymoon because we were having withdrawals. We wanted something cheap, fun, with good food, and not too long, because we did need to come home to work after a couple of days. Well, we found that place in North Florida, so we booked the weekend, packed our bags, and headed over.
When we arrived, we went straight to our bed and breakfast because it was late and we did not want to keep the owners up much longer waiting for us. We were starved though, so once we got settled, we asked them for any food suggestions. They said never mind, to come to their kitchen and help ourselves. So, we did that, and we found so many delicious things. A lot of sweets and a few salty dips that were left over from their time at the pool earlier that day. But what caught my eye was a loaf of Gingerbread. I had only heard of gingerbread in the form of cookies, so I was intrigued when I saw it in a loaf form.
