This Meal Is Easy On Your Wallet
Let me be completely honest with you for a while here. I spent a little too much on all the Christmas stuff this year. I got everyone really nice presents, I bought some fancy dinner ingredients, and wine – the better kind.
Which means I am going to have to figure out ways to balance my budget during these next few weeks. Food is something we don’t always think about when we first start making budget plans. But it is one of the easiest way to save money, as long as you know how to keep your meals interesting and delicious using inexpensive ingredients!
Fortunately, I was raised in a big family in a countryside home, so I have grown to respect simple ingredients. Cabbage is one of those vegetables many people don’t appreciate much, which is such a shame! It’s very inexpensive, has great health benefits – and it tastes delicious! Combined with other veggies and meat of your choice, plus your favorite seasonings, you’re going to have a meal out of this world. And for only a few bucks!

Quick Tip: Add any leftovers to this meal! Mushrooms, shredded chicken, you name it – they’ll make this even more delicious!
