Cow Pattie cookies are super easy to make. They’re great for children to help with because they don’t require a lot of mixing or measuring. I love seeing the delight on my six-year-old son’s face when he helps me making them.
These cookies are going so delicious and I’ve never met a soul that can resist them. Thank goodness the recipe makes about 3 dozen. Their name is sure to bring about some laughter and their taste will be sure to make you happy!
Ingredients
2 cups Domino white sugar
1 stick Land O Lakes butter or Blue Bonnet margarine
1/2 cup Jif peanut butter (I use the crunchy)
2 Tbsps. Toll House cocoa
1/2 cup Carnation evaporated milk
1 tsp. McCormick vanilla
3 cups Quaker quick cooking oats, uncooked
Directions
Mix sugar, milk, and butter in saucepan. Bring to boil and boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Fold in cocoa and rolled oats. Drop from tablespoon onto waxed paper and let cool. No baking necessary.
Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
