Whenever a new BBQ joint opens we just have to try it out. There’s one that opened around the corner and we visited a couple days ago. It was good, but it got me to thinking – do we need to have a smoker or other barbecue tools in order to have food this great? I was pretty sure the answer was no. I decided to find a pulled pork recipe and try my hand at it. When I saw this dubbed perfect, I had to try.
The verdict? It was every bit as good! It made me realize that I could save tons of money by making a huge pork roast at home then shredding it up and adding my chosen flavors to it. You can use your own jar of sauce or try out the ingredients listed here. Either way, you’ll love you can make good BBQ pulled pork right in your own kitchen.
