It seems like at least once a week, we are so busy at home with everything that has to be done, there isn’t even enough time to sit down, much less time to make a homemade dinner that we can eat. After work, the time just flies by and before we know it it’s time for bed. Then, we are sitting in the dinning room eating a meal way later than what anyone should be. It’s terrible to have a dinner and then go right to bed. Your body hates it you for it. So, for my birthday, I asked my husband to get me a crock pot. I had never had one, but all my friends were always talking about how simple they were when it came to those extra busy days. My husband is all for me cooking anything, so of course he got me what I had asked for. As soon as I opened the box, I started researching what kinds of foods I could cook in it.
When I stumbled upon this recipe on Group Recipes for beef stroganoff casserole, I figured I would make it my first recipe. I didn’t think there was much you could do to mess that kind of a meal up, so it would be my experiment.
My husband couldn’t stop eating this when it was done. I had a few helpings myself, even though I’m on a diet… oops! It’s so good though. I think it’s safe to say… irresistible!
