French onion soup is a classic.  I remember getting it in fancy restaurants as a little girl and even though I was not a huge fan of onions, I have ALWAYS been a fan of cheese! I mean, who can resist a bowl that is coated with these?! You can prepare this soup completely in the crock pot, and then right before serving, pour it into oven safe bowls and coat with cheese and pop in the oven for a few minutes.  I promise you, it does the trick perfectly and no one will ever know that you made it in a Crock pot!
Check out what our friends over at Tammilee Tips had to say about this:

“My dear Husband loves French Onion Soup. Every time we take a cruise he looks forward to the evening they serve French Onion Soup. Since we sadly do not have a cruise on our schedule right now I figured I would try my hand at making his favorite soup. Well you know I had to give it my own spin and make it in the crock pot.”

This girl is awesome! This is the best soup I have tried in a long while!
