I was looking for a tasty fall recipe to serve as a dessert after a church meeting one evening and I came across this super simple pumpkin dump cake. it was absolutely delicious! It was also extremely easy to make in the timeframe that I had allotted, which wasn’t very much. This pumpkin dump cake only requires a few ingredients that you might already have in your pantry. I always love it when I don’t need to make a run to the grocery store to pick up ingredients. don’t you?

Now, I’m going to warn you, this pumpkin dump cake is insanely tasty and literally flies out of the pan. You might want to make a double batch to ensure that you have enough for everyone to have seconds. I enjoy eating this cake with either ice cream or a nice glass of milk. How will you eat yours?

This cake is the bee’s knees.

Wow. Just, wow! The other day I had the pleasure of having tea and cake with my elderly neighbor, Helen. Now, Miss Helen is a German immigrant and she is one of the sweetest ladies I know. The cake that Helen served me was absolutely delicious and unlike anything I’d ever tried before. I asked Helen what it was called and she said, “German Bee Sting Cake.” I was a little taken aback because usually, we associate bee stings with pain and the only painful thing about this cake was how good it was.

Helen went on to explain that there was a generous portion of honey in the cake. I think that’s why it tasted so uniquely different than other cakes that I have had in the past. Needless to say, I had another slice, found the recipe online, and am now sharing it with all of you.

In fact, I think I’ll request this cake for my next birthday. Even if nobody volunteers to make it for me I’ll just go ahead and make it for myself. It’ll totally be worth the trouble. This cake is superior to all other cakes…even chocolate! Enjoy!

To me, it tastes like a version of chocolate that is much richer than others. However, i can’t be sure. What does red velvet cake taste like to you? Please let me know in the comments below. iIalways enjoy hearing from you.

Now, this recipe is super simple to make and would have out a gorgeous smile on Scarlet’s beautiful face. I bet Rhett Butler would give a damn about this cake! When it comes to casseroles I’m all in. I love how all the ingredients intermingle with one another to create a hot and savory meal fit for royalty…or my family lol! Anyway, this chicken cordon bleu is a lovely spinoff of the traditional and classic meal. It has hints of the yummy sandwich in there as well. If you are seeking out a filling meal that is easy to throw together for a weeknight supper you’ve found it!

My husband and kids really enjoyed this chicken cordon bleu casserole, which made me insanely happy. It’s very hard to find a meal that everyone likes simultaneously. I also have a brood of picky eaters in my charge and sometimes dinner can be a nightmare. Not on chicken cordon bleu casserole night!

I have primarily lived in Michigan my entire life. We lived in a rural farming area so there were some Amish families who also lived nearby. I was raised Mennonite, so seeing these simple folks wasn’t really too much of a shock to me. My church was a bit more liberal, though, as we could live as “normal” people do. I definitely had my fair share of amazing food from those Mennonite ladies, too!

However, nothing gives you more of a glimpse into the lives of the Amish like living in Pennsylvania does. Since moving here i have befriended a few Amish ladies and they have shared some of their recipes with me. This is one of them! I know you will love it. Plus, my neighbor Sally gives it two thumbs up 😉

As a young girl, going to grandma’s house for dinner was always the highlight of my week. I mean, my mother was an excellent cook, don’t get me wrong, but there was just something special about grandma’s food. She would make this casserole, it never really had a name, that we all loved. My sisters and I dubbed it as “grandma’s casserole.” It was so good! I even requested it as my birthday supper one year.

Over the years, after grandma passed on, I wanted to bring her casserole back to life so I went on a search to find a replica. I sure wish my mom would have had the recipe on hand but she said that grandma never gave it to her. perhaps granny wanted to keep this casserole a secret, all to herself.
