Blueberries were my favorite fruit as a child. My mom used to put them in a bowl, sprinkle some sugar and then pour some milk over the top. And then I would smash all the blueberries with my spoon until the milk turned beautifully purple. That was my favorite treat!

Now that I am older, I love this mug cake recipe. It’s so quick and easy, maybe not as fast as milk and sugar over these little fruits but it cooks up fast in the microwave and satisfies my sweet cravings for sure.

I have actually even made these when I’ve had unexpected guests. You know that panic when someone’s at your door and you have absolutely nothing to serve with a cup of coffee? Not a problem anymore! And if you happen to have a little bit of vanilla ice cream in the freezer, it goes perfectly with these!

This loaf cake may look simple but it’s backed with fresh and sweet flavors. No wonder it’s a staple in French households. It’s also easy to whip up! I love orange anyway, so when I found this recipe I was dying to make it up. Our house has a steady supply of clementines and I call them “nature’s candy.”  So I was good to go!

You will fall in love with this cake. It’s so easy to make, and difficult to mess up. If you’re having people over for an overnight visit, they’ll love waking up to this. It easily impresses, the French have great taste!

Sometimes I just want to whip up a dessert that is simple and satisfying. This time I figured, who doesn’t love a good chocolate cake? I always have success making chocolate cake because it’s naturally moist and super delicious – I knew it’d be a hit. If it’s been awhile since you had a homemade chocolate cake know that it is up-teen times better than a box mix. Just, wow!

I got my reward aside from getting to indulge in the cake. Gasps of pleasure came from my family before I even cut into the dessert. The vision of chocolate icing dripping down the sides a chocolate cake was enough to make them excited. Wouldn’t it be for you? When we finally all took out first bites, it was easily everything I knew it’d be and more. You should total indulge in this one tonight. Just a bit of effort is a huge pay off!

Not often have I found a cake worthy of my time, that is so simple to make outside of a box mix. These ingredients are all simple and likely chilling out in your pantry. Whenever you want a quick sweet fix, this cake will be there.

Even though this cake is so simple to make, it’s very elegant and pretty enough to serve to your finest guests. No-one will know it was a cinch to put together, and you’ll get all the glory for being such a wonderful hostess!

I actually didn’t have any applesauce on hand, but I did have apples. I just blended them up in my Ninja and threw them in the mix. The results? Oh my gosh! Then the cinnamon whipped cream topping it off was perfect. Light, sweet and fluffy this cake is now a favorite in our house.

This is a great switch from traditional sloppy joes, though they have a special place in my heart as well. These crock pot cheeseburgers are amazing! You can still top them with all your favorites to include ketchup, mustard and pickles. Serve them up on some Kaiser or pretzel rolls.

You are guaranteed to have family approval here! This even tastes good off the bun, seriously! I think it’d be great as a dip with potato chips too. If you’re getting ready for a potluck or Superbowl party this will be a definite hit.

One of the main dishes I remember as a child is my mom’s stuffed peppers. I never at the pepper back then, but the filling was devoured. This soup has all the ingredients of those peppers. It’s warm, hearty and makes me smile.

If you don’t feel like going through the work of stuffing the peppers and baking them this can be thrown in your crock and ready for you after work or all-day errands. It’s also a great meal to take to a friend in need. Whatever your reason, it’s flavorful and enjoyable. I highly recommend to capture the taste of those adored stuffed peppers.

Quick Tip: Nothing goes better with this than crusty, French bread in my opinion. A grilled cheese could be good too, or a big, fresh salad.
