I am always up for a good Asian-inspired meal, how about you? From shrimp fried rice to General Tso’s chicken, it all sounds good to me. Usually, my family and I will head out to our local Chinese buffet to satisfy our Asian food cravings, but that can get expensive, especially wit a family of five.

I decided I was going to make my own Asian creation and found this amazing chicken teriyaki casserole recipe. The ingredients are so fresh and crisp! Plus, the sauce is to die for. The whole casserole tastes great and everyone tends to really like this mashup. The only person in my house that didn’t like this casserole was my teenage daughter but she doesn’t like anything right now so we won’t count her vote. 🙂 Enjoy!

The other day I was skimming the internet and my cookbooks for something yummy to make for dinner. My husband has been working so hard at his job and I really wanted to surprise him with some special “man food” when he got home in the evening. That’s when I laid my eyes upon these sweet and spicy drumsticks. I knew instantly that I had to make these for my man. he would LOVE them!

Surprisingly, these drummies weren’t hard to make at all. They only required a few basic ingredients and I already had everything on hand so no special trip to the grocery store! Score! Later that evening, when my mister got home he knew he was in for a treat because he could smell the aroma of these drumsticks before he even opened the door to walk into our happy home.

Argo cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, barilla pasta, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, Borden, brown sugar, casserole, cheesy onion casserole, Chiquita, Clabber Girl, College Inn, Cool Whip, crock pot, Daisy sour cream, dessert, Dole, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, food, Gold Medal flour, granulated sugar, Green Giant, Hershey, Hodgkin’s Mill, Jell-O, Jif peanut butter, Johnsonville, kosher salt, Kraft, la choy, land o lakes butter, Libby, McCormick spices, Morton salt, Pam Cooking Spray, Pepperidge Farm, Philadelphia cream cheese, Powdered sugar, recipe, Sara Lee, Sargento, slow cooker, Thorn Apple Valley, Toll House, TruMoo milk, tyson, vanilla, vanilla extract, Vlasic, Wesson vegetable oil, whipped topping

If you’re looking for a recipe that is unique, flavorful, and easy to throw together, you’ve found one! Now, don’t let the name of this casserole fool you. It’s only ornery because it doesn’t play well with others, meaning that, this casserole wants to steal the show. When you set our cheesy onion casserole on a  table and place other food items around it nobody eats the other food items because the ornery onion casserole demands all of their attention. It truly is THAT good!

I used sweet Vidalia onions in my recipe and it turned out uh-mazing. This casserole works well as both an entree or an appetizer. If you’re serving it as an appetizer I’d set out crackers with it such as Triscuits. Make sure to chop the onions into small pieces.
